Also listed ASX companies like to increase their profile to attract investors and hopefully get their share price up. -
he did come third in their B&F Oh thats right they don't vote on games they pluck it out of the air at the end of the season.

No ASX announcement from AHG so the amount of money can't be 'material' to them -

I love the fact rumours are no longer emanating out of the club. Don't think any of us had any idea this was about to happen. They are running a tight ship and only announce something when there is something to say. You can't run a strategy when there are leaks to the media all the time. This is a really good sign that the board and administration are working together well. -
Salem for mine. Elite footskills. We are lacking bigtime.

[Yaaaaawwwwwwwnnnn].... Oh its November right?

Feet I reckon are differenet. Judd has shoulder problems but it didn't hurt is running. Buddy had social problems and a club like Hawthorn was able to keep him on a pretty tight leash, Fev was a basket case who got away with blue murder at Carlton. There are numerous examples But feet are problematic if they aren't right. Good on the club for getting them scanned. Sounds like they are working assiduously on all possibilities for pick 9.....

Still recall him one day tagging Deledio, killing him, and kicking 5 goals. Stellar day.

Thats right. He was only outmarked once in 46 contests. The heirachy like him. Supporters on the whole don't. His best is tremendous. His worst is bad. And has a lot of brain fades IMO

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - AIDAN RILEY
jnrmac replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
Very much in the style of Sloane. Similar height and weight. Ferocious attack on the footy. All good from me. -
Sylvia will be a gun one day.....if he just gets a decent pre-season.... Michie (pick 54) will walk into our best 22......
-
I'm not sure people are writing off the newbies. Its more like people are giving them ridiculous ratings and some hear are more realistic about where things stand. Michie was a pick 44 who has played 1 game with Freo in three years. We got him for pick 54. He may turn out to be a great player and history suggests Ross has an uncanny ability to spot and nurture talent but when some here are saying he is an automatic inclusion in our best 22 and will be a gun, I have to laugh and do the face palm thingy. That's not writing them off, its being realistic.

Its pretty simple. Watts needs to develop an appetite for a contest. That doesnt mean crashing packs but he does need to show desire to get the pill. When he has the ball he is usually first class with his disposal.

I'm saving up this post...

Hardly.

That is about all we can hope for at this stage.

I don't think 3yrs is a big difference in terms of winning a B&F. I just don't agree a B&F winner in the 2nd tier WA competition is a walk up start for our best 22. I hope he is but all he has at this point is potential.

Similar to Magner, Couch and Valenti? Don't like your logic.

A few are askew??? How about our goal average of 17.9!!!!! Number 2 in the league. WTF are those stats from ????? Did we kick 17 in any game????? Hey maybe we won the flag and I dreamed it was a shiiite year!
