Garry has been an arrogant [censored] for a long time...

I suspect the biggest chance is the fact that all players were treated the same in terms of penalties. But the lack of records probs means that players can't claim they were/werent given certain substances. Its interesting that Hal Hunter went through the injection regime but didn't sign a waiver form. Hence he was not charged. The forms are therefore likley to be the most compelling evidence..

I'd suggest there are 15 people who liked what I said. Pretty simple. Don't read him or put him on ignore. Your snide remarks about someone providing training reports is frankly pathetic.

Thanks for that and welcome to the nut house.

What a smart alec reply. Sniping from your keyboard again. Proud of yourself? Why don't you just refrain from reading his comments and making inane comments so that those of who appreciate Saty's comments can take them on board for what they are worth.

You aren't going to do permanent damage with these kind of soft tissue injuries I would have thought....

Essendon has a better chance of playing finals than Melbourne
jnrmac replied to Bring-Back-Powell's topic in Melbourne Demons
The biggest threat is that rd 2 will be the Bummers first home game, the walk to G, lots of past and present players etc. It will be a huge game for them. A real danger game for us. -
Practically? they smashed his windpipe and he coudn't breathe.

Yep cos you are a genius recruiter. FMD

Seems the Herald Sun are a bit slow on the uptake but here is a nice story about our new strategy and game plane coach ... Dees poach footy boffin
-
Happy with that

For those that were lambasting Petracca over his toe, here is another footy player breaking a bone playing in the back yard.... Thank the Lord that they both weren't playing for melbourne this year or D'Land would be in meltdown....

Awesome. But its probably a bit stupid at this point too. Still you maybe can't turn that aggression on and off. You either have it all the time (which Viney does) or you maybe you don't....

"Dear M/s PanahiI didn’t think I’d ever come across someone with the hatred you obviously hold for the Essendon players. To my regret, when I read your trash, I stoop to your level. Yours sincerely Bruce Francis he needs to get out more often........

Great news. If he can get the ball, he has a great footy brain and he will know what to do with it. If he can hit targets he will walk into our team.

The real crux is to get the 18 teams playing each other once and then devise a system so there are 5 more rounds and then finals. That way there are the same number of games for TV. Maybe you split the comp after 18 games into 3 segments to decide finals playoffs and draft order at the bottom to keep interest ... The AFL and TV won't countenance a reduction in total number of games
-
Still doesn't help if you play GWS at the G and then in Sydney. Half of both of those games is very little. That theory works with EFC, Hawks, Carlton, Coll, Geel, Rich. And when you play WCE that fill the ground with 90% members, the revenue available to be split diminishes considerably.
-
6 Friday night games and 2 Saturday night games smashes the "you have to perform to get good TV slots" theory. On 2014's form they deserved nothing.
-
I remember around 5yrs ago WCE and Coll were spending $300k a week more than Melbourne on their football depts. Just over $15m a year. High altitude chambers, recovery rooms, trips to Arizona , more doctors, more physios, better gyms, etc etc etc Pretty easy to rack up a lot more spending. Plus some of them divert money to other property plays, pubs, pokie venues etc

Saturday Talking Point: The NAB Challenge
jnrmac replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
When you are coming from the position we are the NAB cup is critical for momentum, and for players to make a statement about their year. Its also critical commercially to get supporters on board.... -
You are correct.

The combined Jaeger O'Meara and Dion Prestia Thread
jnrmac replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
I am tempted to say the GenY's are a very sensitive bunch but in the interest of D'Land harmony I will resist and refrain from making comment in future
