Not sure where you are getting this from? Dew was offered the job but the Swans wouldn't release him from his contract to become an assistant coach to Roos. They would have had been offered a senior coaching role.

I wouldn't be using this example of OMac to say how well he is going. I actually think this bit of play is quite pathetic. He has a long, pretty much unimpeded, run at the ball and gets a slight touch on it. No solid punch. No body on body. No physicality whatsoever and then he somewhat lamely backs out of the contest. He does keep his feet which is good. Jetta does way more. Other key backs would impact the contest much more. This is why OMac gets beaten on one on ones so often against more physical players. His lack of urgency, physicality and solid contact is infuriating - just like the example in the first 5mins of the 1st qtr. And when he did get a solid punch he twice hit to dangerous spots. He is a massive work in progress and a long way from being a reliable key defender.

No. ANB has improved out of sight. Oscar has eliminated some of his big flaws. One of the previous posters was saying that OMac doesn't have any 'weapons'. He is trying to play a role in a team defence. Hunt has weapons, so does Hibberd and Jetta. OMac has improved no doubt but not out of sight.

His arm was raised after Dixon's arm collected him. He was running full tilt trying to stay inside the boundary.

PJ would be perfect and THB I was worried about this as soon as the Lethlean saga unfolded. Nonetheless if he did go we are on a much sounder footing now and we would have a strong ally in AFL HQ

The club has said they have been working with Angus to correct a flaw in his footy technique. A flaw where he tended to lead with his head into a contest rather than lead with his body to take most of the impact. Very pleased to hear the club has been pro-active in assessing Gus' style and making necessary adjustments to his style of play as well as being ultra cautious with his medical prognosis. Great news for all and I cant wait to see Gus out there again and then fulfilling his considerable potential.

yawn. Don't need our own slagging off at us. There is plenty in the media to do that. The Dees have possibly the most resilient supporter base in the country. We have cracked 40,000 members. Everyone is 'busy'. Numbers always drop off in winter. The Pies had 22k blah blah.
