Changes vs West Coast
He's Oscar's mum I wouldn't worry too much. Thinks he is a combination of Stephen Silvagni, Chris Langford and Bruce Doull. Most of us can see that he is currently a liability. But at least he's tall....

Changes vs West Coast
Was poor on the weekend. Still getting a bit of the ball but missed handballs and turned it over quite a bit. Decision making a bit off as well. Not sure what the problem is there.

Changes vs West Coast
Fair comments all except for the turnover by foot. His neat disposal is the only attribute he has unless you count being tall....

Injury List - Season 2019
On that point I wonder if our brains trust will insist on players wearing decent stops on their boots to stop the debacle in the Prelim of players falling over like they were ice skating??

Set shot goalkicking
Melk hold the ball almost horizontal to the ground when he is lining up for a drop punt - its a bizarre way to kick a footy. Our better kicks - Salem and Fritsch - hold the ball on a more vertical axis and drop it low to the foot before releasing their hand. TMac holds the ball very steady and low down minimising also the potential skew to his foot - the exact opposite of Petracca. TMac lifts his leg straight and high. Petracca slams the ball from so high on to his boot it rarely connects cleanly. Clarry kicks for goal with a real cross kick angle. His right leg goes from way outside the line to way inside the line. As a result his set shot kicking is terrible. Drives me spare that these guys don't practice technique more.

Crowd incident - Hawks Dees
I just read in The AGE that the 'disabled' man admitted throwing beer over the bald guy. So it may not be as some here have suggested. The guy clearly uses profanities freely so may not be as blameless as people are suggesting. Nonetheless it's just too hard to know what the real story is. Let the police do their job

Crowd incident - Hawks Dees
hyperbole I'd suggest

Crowd incident - Hawks Dees
"go off into the night and punch a wall if you have to" "F*** you dogs" Interesting guy.

Crowd incident - Hawks Dees
Plenty of virtue signalling BS going on here when no one knows the full story What was the bald guy doing walking out with a beer. They don't allow you to leave the bar with a beer in your hand? And what were the 'disabled' guys carer(s) doing allowing him to get into a verbal altercation and then knock a beer out of someone's hand? Too many unkowns here to jump to conclusions

CASEY DEMONS V FOOTSCRAY VFL - Round 5
I wasn't making a point. Simply saying watch the last qtr again. But seeing as you have raised it he was quite sound in the 3rd qtr buthe last when the game was on the line was deplorable and frankly unacceptable. When the game is up for grabs I want players who will put their body on the line and show desperation for the ball. Can you sau OMac did that in the last? Nup. Give me a player who attacks the ball with ferocity. Not the wet lettuce like OMac. He simply isn't dependable and rarely beats his man, He has no defining traits as a footballer and is slow of body and mind. Other than that he is great.
