The Way Gawn is Umpired
I'm not sure tho that defending yourself has ever been a defence. In fact often the retaliator gets punished. I like the fact Goodwin has called it out. The 3 umpires we had were a disgrace. We couldn't see it because the TV coverage didn't show it but the vision in the Cornes segment was damning. And Gawn is unable to play this week, as is the case with Viney who got concussion. Unfortunately we have them again.

The Way Gawn is Umpired
I disagree strongly Max should play the ball. Let his team mates support their Captain. It's actually a disgrace they let that happen to their Capt and best player. And after those peanuts in the commentary team had a go at VDB for giving the Crow player a push its clearly too much to ask for some consistency. Butu we know they are massive hypocrites in any case..

The Way Gawn is Umpired
Just saw the FoxSports segment on thetargettig of Gawn. Unbelievable. Was not shown in the normal coverage so it went under the radar. But those maggots umpiring that game should never umpire again.

Luke Jackson's chances of winning the rising star? * nominated Round 10 *
You dont know they give one out every single week don't you. For the best young player of the round... The Question therefore is: Has a young player had a better game this week?

CHANGES: Rd 11 vs North Melbourne
Hardly incorrect, controversial or disputable. I said: I thnk every side thinks they can beat Melbourne. Particularly the bottom sides. Pressure them hard early and they will fold. Its been a recipe for success over the years. The Crows tried it. Our wins that you refer to prove my point really. We had a 1pt win against Carlton after leading by 42opints. Really solid victory Gold Coast were within 3 pts at 3/4 time. Another stirring win Adelaide were 12pts down at 3/4 time after pushing hard against the Dees all night. Last year our record against the bottom 9 sides from 2018? 7 losses. 3 wins - Carlton by 5 pts, Gold Coast 1pt and Freo who led for the 1st 3 quarters We have made a habit of being pushed and/or beaten by bottom sides for over a decade. Its pretty common amongst AFL players that Melbourne are flaky and beatable when pressure is applied. Particularly for interstate sides that play at the MCG that might be their only appearance for the season. The get themselves up and usually push us and often prevail. If you're hanging your hat on this year's performance good luck. I can see why you use the name Pollyanna

Salem & Dinky kicks
I thought Salem's role would be a line breaker with his kicking off half back. To that end he is disappointing. He uses the ball well but we don't get enough bang for our buck. 15m chip passes are not what we generally need. We need scything 50m passes to open up the ground and launch attacks. I think he could work as a mid as he is clean and thinks well under pressure generally.
