  1. Weather in melb doesn't look too bad 16 deg maybe a small drizzle later but nothing much. Quite a bit of wind though..
  2. We have a great recruiting team that has done a great job. It wont always go our way but we can have some confidence they know what they're doing. They also seem good to deal with unlike other clubs like Essendon and freo suffer that from having inflated egos running their recruiting depts. Knowing who you want to get and savvy trading to get them rather than following the media pack on who the'hottest' out of contract player is makes a big difference. We targeted langdon 2 years out and he was never going anywhere else for example. Think of some of the busts that have occurred with Hannath, BHill, zac Williams, Saad, hogan, etc. Well done dees.
  3. A W in the W/L column is all that's required
  4. Fritsch was more than quiet he was a liability weak efforts and lazy football
  5. Good changes
  6. errr Didnt Danger go home to Moggs Creek?
  7. The bold bit is a little bit important.....
  8. Fritsch had probably his worst game for the club. He infuriates me with his casual CGAF approach. Kicking into the man on the mark was unforgivable. But....we don't know what the club knows. he may have had personal issues, he may have run a record distance and been acting on instructions. He may have played a decoy role. Let's see what he dishes up this week. On the surface of it if he plays like that again he has to go.
  9. Doesn't look right. Jack Viney is 135 games of that lot..... Tomlinson, Hore, Vandenburg, Lockhart and Smith....
  10. You're not too bright I see,
  11. Oliver is 1-5
  12. You can disagree all you like. If he's had 23 shots from the goal square and only got 18g 5b then he's not very accurate is he? Its meaningless unless you combine it from where they are kicked from.
  13. Maybe one of them did
  14. Vastly different. May's was accidental, soft and had no impact. Hawkins....well he has form in flinging his elbows around.
  15. That's a useless stat unless you know where the set shots were taken from ... If they were all 50m out he's having a blinder...
  16. They stand in terrible spots, are regularly blindsided and often guess decisions. Goal umps are worse. How often do you see them backed up against the goal post and the ball hits them.. There is no feel or intutition.
  17. Sydney and Melbourne have the 2 highest pressure ratings apparently, so a slog was expected and thats what we got. Aside from centre clearances we played well in the conditions.
  18. errrr no. He is a lazy kick and often misses targets
  19. The Swans dropped the ball pretty much every time they got tackled and couldn't get a disposal off. Its a tactic they use. The frustration of the rule is that right there. If the ball spills out in the tackle its considered play on (so long as no prior). Its ajudged so differently by 3 different umpires within a game its a total farce.
  20. Petracca pushed the NM player into Fritsch. I guess you're still a dunce ...?
  21. So its a free shot on Gawn every single week. They cannon into his back punch him in the back of the head and pile on to him when on the ground. PLay on. No frees, no fines. BS
  22. I'm not sure that is right. If you ran 10 steps towards goal and 10 steps back to the same spot you would be pinged. Think of an absurd situation, If you ran in a 14m circle 3 times you would be pinged. They usually go on the number of steps the player with the ball takes and by my count he only took 12.
  23. Wishful thinking. They do review the video of each clearance in slo-mo, freeze frame and real time. There is plenty of analysis done and 'learnings' that come out of it. They also use overhead footage and down the ground footage. They'll more than likely be at the game today with Carlton analysing the set ups as well. But I think you know this..
  24. I thought the umps call was harsh and wrong.
