Luke McCabe still has nightmares..
-
As much as I like Hannan he needs to lift big time. Averaged 5 kicks and 3 marks in his 6 games last year. 4 goals in total..
-
They have used some common sense...
-
I'm shocked there's no OMac The experts here assured us he would be straight in as he's best 22....
-
Clarrie's a good player, not great. He needs to become more damaging and he will once hethinks a bit more about his disposal. You can already see him size up options - much more than he has done previously but he still has a way to go to be considered like a Cripps, Dangerfield or Dusty..

Thanks for the report. Did we proactice the defence tactic of four players flying for the same ball and the ball disappearing over the back? Or have we got that down pat now?

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
jnrmac replied to Tinks's topic in Melbourne Demons
I get it was his first game back and it was great he got through however, he showed zero defensive skills for mine and was wandering around by himself most of the time. Can't get away with that for too long. We already have too many of those kind of players. -
Yep, here's the problem with posters like you. You excuse poor performances. You'd be the kind that hangs around the players race after a 10 goal loss to pat them on the back. The whole culture of the club is one that accepts mediocrity. Here we are playing a terrible team indoors and we burst out of the blocks and then completely capitulate. No on field leaders, a coaching panel that hasn't a clue and a supporter base that says 'oh well, its bette r than losing'. Until we lose that pathetic acceptance of sub-par performances and demand 4 qtr consistent efforts we will be a terrible football club. But you'll be on your rocking chair mumbling to yourself 'it'll be our year next year'. Good luck with that.
-
This post is up there with the comment after round 1 that the players were "worried how they would get home from Perth" Give me strength this club can be pathetic. How about we demand consistent effort.
-
Let's talk about Weideman instead. You clearly have a sharp eye for detail.
-
2018 is increasingly looking like an anomoly year. Goodwin has zero motivational skills and is incapable of stopping basic football mistakes like 4 defenders flying for a mark or long-bombing to our forward line. Other than that he's a great coach.
-
Pretty much nailed it with this post
-
Next you'll be saying the weather favoured Carlton FFS call a spade a spade. They are a crap team with zero leadership. Did Jones touch the ball in the second half? TMac, Melksham, Lever and Smith were pathetic. holy cow we are playing with one arm behind our backs.
-
Yes but he roamed freely and didn't pick up a Carlton player ever. Can't have that. There is too many already there that do that. Milkshake being the main offender.
-
melksham Lever Tomlinson TMac Salem Just hopeless and lazy today
-
What has happened to TMac? Totally bereft of confidence.
-
Smart from Tominson to kick over the carlton heads for a running Hunt goal
-
sloppy now.
-
Carlton are putrid
-
Do you really believe that is how they will line up?
