		CHANGES: Rd 16 vs GWS

I disagree but regardless that's not the role weid would play in the ones is it? He was given a wider brief to try and run him into some form or confidence. He's not getting back in the side on that effort. I hope he finds form soon. He is bereft of confidence.

What they're saying down at Windy Hill

They started booing early in the first quarter and increased the volume during the game. As if they were affirming each free was a conspiracy theory against them. Hilarious. Spoke to two Bomber supporters at work and OMG they were banging on like you wouldn't believe about how they were robbed. When I said the Harmes decision was the same as two they didn't pay to us in the first quarter they said it was irrelevant because it was the first quarter! They did conced that Devon Smith has a big mouth and needed to shut up. ("stop shouting at me Devon" will go down as one of the great umpire comments of all time!) They also agreed that the great Stringer choked with his pathetic kick at goal in the final quarter.

Local media pundits not taking MFC as a serious threat.

Well we all know how the Dees go when the media sing their praises.... I for one am happy they are not on board. Couldn't be happier.. We don't need anyone else's bathwater.

		POSTGAME: Rd 15 vs Essendon

The Harmes one in the last 5 mins they were complaining about happened to us twice in the first qtr where Ess players were tackled and just let the ball go or failed to connect a fist or a foot to the ball.

		POSTGAME: Rd 15 vs Essendon

It does worry me slightly that we largely strangle teams but in nearly every game this year we have never been far enough in front that we could relax. Getting 4 goals up and then letting them get two quick ones to think they have a chance is becoming our standard. We'd love it to be get 4 goals up then 5 then 6 then 7 but we cant seem to keep that scoreboard pressure up. Thats why we need to sort out our fwd line ASAP. Yes we are winning but could finish the games a LOT earlier if we could score more consistently.

CASEY DEMONS: Rd 11 vs Essendon

Yeah I think it is. He was more than serviceable. And when you consider he hadn't played for nearly 2 years, the conditions in his 3 games - he was far better than "poor" And with the 'current lineup' - how did you see the continual bombing of the ball into our forward line that saw the ball killed or us outmarked so often by the Ess talls? Spargo on a number of occasions was trying to market against 6' 6" Stewart....

Interesting for those that make deliberations based on stats Sam wasn't anywhere near as effective as Ben. Ben Brown 5 goals 2 behinds 14 kicks 14 disposals 8 marks 1 tackle 3 hit outs 106 dream team points Sam Weideman 1 goal 3 behinds 13 kicks 8 handballs 21 disposals 11 marks 2 tackles 10 hit outs 113 dream team points

What they're saying down at Windy Hill

The rule used to be that your foot couldn't be connected to the ball as it crossed the line. WTF happened to that? you had to poke your foot at the ball and it couldn't cross the line. can anyone enlighten me if that rule has changed?
