As strange as it sounds I miss getting emotional at footy games... it's kinda boring just winning. Comfortably. Dont get me wrong - I hate losing more than anything else. I miss the CONTEST at present. Yes the Hawks took it up to us - but we weren't close to full strength and it never felt in danger despite them closing late. Can't wait for the saints, Sydney, Brisbane and freo games to hopefully witness a contest

Grew up in the 80s. Played all my junior footy in the Hawthorn district junior football league. Played countless games at glenferrie oval for interleague games.. under 15s and 17s there with some very well known names around the league ( not getting named here though) before the juniorpathway was disbanded. Absolutely HATE this mob with a [censored] passion. They used to bury our noses in it. Time to repay the debt. Kill those [censored] Hawks... OK I feel better now

No it's not but when you become the number 1 played player at a club.... you don't finish 15th or so in back to back B&Fs - it's a fair disconnect between getting what you can and your performance matching your paycheck

There is a massive difference between showing frustration/emotion and even some venting to abusing umpires. This rule doesn't allow for the former. Despite it being an emotional game for the players the clubs and the fans. Somehow head office and the umpires need to learn the difference between human emotion and dissent. They are vastly different

Adam Cerra wanted to come to the Dee's. His manager decided a trade couldn't be done by the Dee's without the available draft pick... Doesn't matter how much he gets offered by either WC or Freo. On merit we're a 6 goal+ better team... My MFCSS unfortunately still runs deep - this feels like a danger game. If we bring the sam intensity as the GC game - lookout game on and... who knows These [censored] seem to get the better of us... maybe I'm still scarred from Hird pulling 2 out of his butt in the last minute to beat us in 99 (or 2000 or around then anyway) but I hate them with a passion and would rather be weary of them than overconfident and only bring 70% effort
