even if its just bad luck, i don't know why a club would employ a fitness guy with a reputation of having soft-tissue injuries with its players. Mclean, Rivers, Sylvia, Petterd, Bate, Whelan and more. I think we are just fielding guys under 100%.

Rhino, i took my hat off for Miller's performance. I did acknowledge that he played a great game. And if he plays half as good as that every week then he will be a great player for us for a long time. I hope he does, but the fact is, he probably wont even kicked 3 more goals for the rest of the season or get more than 15 touches in any one game. I hope i'm wrong. And i don't know how you can compare Aussie with Miller? Aussie has played maybe 1 poor game and played 4 good ones. Miller has played about 3 good games and about 94 shockers over his 97 game career. The ratios of good/bad games is completely opposite.

just thought i'd quote you again rhino.

Under the current priority pick system, a team only receives a pick before round one of the draft if they have less than 4.5 wins in a season for two-straight years. http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/sport/afl...3-19742,00.html this is what i posted before. need i say more

I don't believe i was wrong with the priority pick system. i used the herald sun as a reference point so if thats wrong then i guess so am i..but i think it would be more accurate than wikipedia which you used. or someone else. its NOT 16.5 points like someone suggested. 4.5 wins was the base point and i said that.

15 Colin Sylvia possessions = 40 Cameron Bruce possessions
Freak replied to Yze_Magic's topic in Melbourne Demons
a clanger is different from an ineffective disposal but i agree, bruce was good. Garland has to be given the chop though, I don't think many people would object. -
Rhino Richards. My condemnation has been backed up by stats..how can you defend his pathetic performances the past 4-5 years? in 80% of his games over his career he has got less than 10 touches. how can you defend that?...Once a year miller plays well and you all come out saying he is good and worth having, but you go missing the other 21 games of the year. Come back in 2 weeks time, i dare you.

everyone knows i wanted miller dropped. I still do, if we are building for a flag Miller can't be in the team. He has played 2 good games in his whole career. But he still played a great game and finally applied some scoreboard pressure which is what he has never done before. I'd rather Miller have 2 kicks and 2 goals in a game than 10 possessions, 10 clangers like he usually does playing further up the ground.

the china experiment is an interesting one. They are a very very large target market, with potentially very high rewards however I think if you segmented the market into passionate football follower/interested follower/mildly interested follower/disinterested in football about 95% would fall into the last category and it is extremely difficult to convert people in to this category, not to mention more expensive.

well Daniel Rich is best player available at this stage. Naitanui will be picked up based on potential, no doubt about that.
-
your 3 sources just contradicted each other. wikipedia just stated 16.5 wins, which is wrong, 4 wins= 16points not 16.5 as states in ur last source. Hopefully it is 4 and i'm wrong because that increases our chances of getting either rich or naitanui.

Yze Magic, i think you need to up your medication. Admittedly, I post some pretty outlandish stuff, but to trade Cale Morton and our draft pick is ridiculous. Cale Morton was a very high draft pick and hasn't filled out yet. And Daniel Rich(likely pick number 2) seems like a good player, but I know you've never seen him play and are purely going by the hype on him posted by others. Also to think that a team is going to trade a pick 2 highlights your stupidity and your amateur views on the game of football. I almost prefer brad miller over you.
-
its 4 and a half wins or less, 2 seasons in a row that gets you the priority pick at the start of the first round.
-
i was thinking about it, as he is one of the best kicks in the comp, but aaron davey for a straight trade with reilly, i wouldn't take.
-
you need tall blokes in the forward line. Green and Bate are not bad contested marks against people roughly their size. Good luck having a forward line like that against fremantle and hoping Green and Bate can outmark sandilands who would drop down to defence.

If we were to trade Davey for a top 15 pick, there is roughly a 90% fail rate, according to draft 2000, 2001 and 2002. Draft picks are overrated unless in the top 5. 2000 draft 10 Jordan McMahon 11 Trent Sporn 12 Shaun Burgoyne 13 Ashley McGrath 14 Daniel Harris 15 Simon Wiggins 2001 10 Sam Power 11 Richard Cole 12 Brent Reilly 13 Nick Dal Santo 14 Ashley Watson 15 Barry Brooks 2002 10 Jason Laycock 11 Jason Winderlich 12 Jay Schulz 13 Byron Schammer 14 Daniel Bell 15 Nicholas Smith

its not 16.5 points tho..its 4 and a half wins..and 4.5 wins is 18.

richmonds draw saints (lose) geel (lose) essendon (lose) sydney (lose) adelaide (lose) melbourne (win) port(lose) carlton(lose) west coast(lose) essendon(lose) bris(lose) geel(lose) adelaide (lose) hawthorn (lose) fremantle(lose) melb(win) finish with Priority pick.
-
You guys are joking if you think we will get Naitanui. One of Richmond or Carlton will qualify for a priority pick, end of story.

miller couldn't get fevola down even if he was carrying a hammer

Are the days of the traditional full forward gone
Freak replied to fired up's topic in Melbourne Demons
i reckon he will win 6 coleman medals -
Approx. 30% of all players drafted........
Freak replied to Little Lucifer's topic in Melbourne Demons
bell was a pick 14 though wasn't he?...i'm pretty sure about 90% of injury-free draft picks in the top 20 would play an afl game -
Franky, you suggested Miller as captain. please leave the site.
