  1. Perhaps not but with Junior gone we definitely need a skipper!

  3. On the off chance that the following 荣誉赞助商: means Kaspersky Cup Shanghai Showdown then we're in luck. If it means something rude or libellous I apologise and put it down to my ignorance of the language.
  4. I think many here underestimate Jordan's ability as a footballer. In his early days at the Bulldogs he was a difficult player to beat and often ran the lines to good effect. It was only when he changed clubs and went to Richmond that he turned to slops and that matchwinning goal last year was uncharacteristic of his time in the yellow and black. It's unlikely he would have done it if they'd kept Terry Wallet as their coach. More lately he gave the Tigers' revival a massive boost by maintaining his consistently average form at Coburg therefore enabling their selectors to resist the temptation to promote him to AFL level.
  5. Without a doubt this player is a rare gem. His skills, brain and overall football prowess made him a treat to watch in his debut season and he's only going to get better.
  6. I sincerely hope that you recover those sunnies Tassie Dee, but if you don't find them soon why not take this matter up with the Chilean embassy. I notice that every one of their 33 miners was wearing a pair of sunnies when lifted out of that mine. Now, that's too much a coincidence to my mind. I reckon one of the 33 pairs belongs to you and it's worth a crack. If they won't give them back we could demand that Julia Gillard declares war on Chile.
  7. Well that's it then. Let's put him on the next flight to Shanghai and put him in the 22 to play Brizvegas in the place of Kyle Cheney.
  8. Perhaps it might be time to reintroduce the no Woewy threads rule.
  9. Apparently, that's not the case. GC can nominate players previously in the AFL system or who have previously nominated themselves for the draft and trade them right up to tomorrow's 2pm deadline. Don't know however, if Sinclair is eligible under this rule.
  10. I think all AFL clubs are the same these days. When it comes fo recruiting you do what it takes to get your man.
  11. Prisoners break in to umpiring ranks I've been saying for years that AFL games are umpired by criminals.
  12. Does this mean the Pies are on Krak?
  13. Why settle only for a press release? Let's have a full blown press conference for the Meese release announcement?
  14. It seems to me that these blokes are getting a fair bit more protection from their football club and from the AFL than Fevola when allegations were made against him. In that case, didn't the AFL say it might investigate Fev irrespective of the outcome of the police investigation? There's been no announcement from the Pies banning two players from any club functions either.
  15. Too fat, too slow and butchers the footy whenever he gets it. Pass!
  16. There is no other choice after the sewerage pipe fiasco but for the two competing clubs to withdraw and for the AFL to declare the 2010 season a "no result". The health and safety of our finest athletes must not be compromised!
  17. Not just trade week. I believe the government is thinking of moving Christmas back a week to 1st January.
  18. A picture's worth 1,000 words and one can only hope to find a replica at 5.30pm this Saturday.
  19. Just heard an interview with Dyson Heppell's father and his name isn't Martin or Marty.
  20. When does Garry Junior sign on for the Suns? The pain started for the Cats on Friday night. It's due to continue next week.
  21. Randy, there's little chance of a father-son connection here. According to the TAC Cup Record, Dyson Heppell was born on 14 May 1992 which means that if Martin was the father he would have been a dad at 17½ and before he started his illustrious football career.
  22. Sorry. Can't lose the avatar. It's on loan from one of the men in white coats.
  23. Listen to the man. His idea has some merit. We could package up Travis Johnstone in the deal and get Mark "Jacko" Jackson back to the fold as their personal trainer and mentor. FEV IS INNOCENT
  24. Tonight's light training run on the G is a good lead up for the Cats to the Preliminary Final against Collingwood next week. It probably proves the viewpoint that it's not good to make the finals ahead of your time.
