Yes they have topped up under Roos...but you have to remember that they traded for hall also. I don't see any harm in going for a KPF (like Sydney did with Hall) to supplement Watts (Sydney had O'laughlan). We already have bucket loads of talent...time to get some experiance. Unless you think Miller's the answer. I'd love to get someone like Tippet

Sydney have traded for needs and have a great track record. If the right player was there....say Dawes or Anthony, i'd like us to go for them. Not sure what they'd be worth though.

he's a great bloke too. I remember at a family day a couple of years ago i was lining up to get some autographs and was just looking around and spotted chip walking in my direction. He saw me and came straight over to me, signed my poster and had a chat (I asked him for his tip for dreamteam). One of the nicest players i've ever met. The fact that i went to school in Ballarat and he's a Ballarat boy makes it even better haha. I'm wrapped that he's hitting his straps, because i was one of the people defending him when some clowns on this site were saying he was useless and needed delisting (this was a couple of years ago mind you, but it did happen). Anyway, Chip you are a champ son, keep it up!

Good to hear. I think we'll have a great settled back 6. Something that Adelaide and Geelong have, and that West Coast had in their GF year. None of those sides had a great forward line, just need our mids to develop.

Well they had half an hour to think about pick 11.....i'm sure they got it right. It's not like he was a huge bolter, he has been long talked about being a first round draft choice. Looking at his footage, i'm very happy with this choice. Looks like a footballer....

I was surprised, probably like many others on this board, when Bennell was drafted last year. Especially in the 30's, as i'd never heard of him before. Now 1 year into his AFL experiance, i am very excited with what he has shown on the footy field. With another pre-season under his belt, i can't wait to see him running out from half back. Hitting team mates on the chest with his pin point passes. The future is looking good

I am pleased with warnock's improvement. A couple of years ago i thought he wouldn't make it, now he's a very reliable key defender. Another great pick from the rookie list (quite a few now) Onwards and upwards Matty

I'm thinking that maybe this will be the year of Matthew Bate......for some reason people rate him kinda low....he will be an awesome foil for Watts and may be the reason Miller was only contracted for 1 year.
