Time for the AFL to introduce the brother/brother rule.

@WalkingCivilWar how often do you and other members of the cheer squad get to interstate games? Do you take it in turns so there is always some level of representation, or are there fellow MFC supporters interstate that take up cheer squad duties when it’s in their neck of the woods?

And they played within their limits mostly that year. With the likes of Rivers, May and Pig in the backline, I’d much prefer them to do the pinpoint kicking. Jake and Harry should kick long down the line 90% of the time.

Whilst I don’t doubt their bravery, a backline with Lever and Petty’s decision making frightens the heck out of me.

To be fair, he had a good 15cm on his defender. We all know he can take an overhead grab. What caught my attention was that leap at the centre bounce in the last.

Yep, I thought it was poorly umpired for both teams. Bringing in a fourth umpire has only increased the inconsistencies and paying of free kicks that simply should not be paid.

All his touches today had a positive influence on the game.

Am hoping it’s nothing sinister. He’s one of the few I have zero worries with when the ball is in his hands in the back line.

He has really stepped up in both our wins. JJ also does so much better playing in the guts. I’d have him in there before Viney (whose form is a worry). Sparrow came into it more as the game got older. Spargo gets a very bad wrap on here. The numbers crucifying him for his attempt near half time, he was at least 5 meters away from it. He had a good game (and I’m not his biggest supporter). Need to keep up this momentum. Go Dees

Disagree with your disagree, yep he was good in the third. They were coming hard a got within a kick. He turned the clearances around with his ruckwork, both grabbing them kicking forwards and his hit outs. He got us going midway through the 3rd when it was needed most. That’s when it counts the most, imo. The game was over by 3/4 time.
