100% correct this year. There was such a disconnect between Max and our mids that it more often than not saw us losing the clearance battle when he was rucking. I don’t want to win hit outs, I want us to win clearances as this is when we play our best football.

Hunt hurt us quite a few times this year with his poor disposal and decision making, especially some horrific turnovers in the finals (he wasn’t alone though). However, we absolutely need his dash and dare, just further up the field. He would do very well on the opposite wing to Langdon.

Yep, and im sure we'd be interested in Max King or Harry McKay. Doesn't me there's any chance of them coming to us.

Please don't encourage him, he belongs in the 19th Century, not on the air with his own show on Sky News (Australia's own Fox News). -

Yes, this could very well be his legacy if he wants it to be. -

IF and i stress IF these allegations are proven to be correct, these 2 are in for some serious ramifications. -

These are serious breaches of basic human rights. Don't worry about AFL implications, if some of these accusations are proven to be true, some should be facing imprisonment. -

Trade him to Tassie for all I care

Short sighted? Yes. At least we’re looking like going all-in to chase another flag. It’s the only thing I like about this move.

Spargo plays more of a HFF role, getting up the ground instead of staying inside 50. That’s his forte and he is good at it, he is a victim of bombing it in over his head. The team either need to make a habit of going through him, or he may as well just stay inside 50 as a crumbing forward.

Damn auto correct

Can see where you’re coming from old, that draft picks are unknowns, but imo so is an injured ruckman who couldn’t get on the park for the second half of the year

If the filth want a first rounder in return, they can pay half of Grundy’s wage.

I’ve kept a close eye on Flanders’ AFL progress, as he is a Fish Creek junior and his family is basically royalty at the FCFNC. To me, he lacks any real weapons to forge a successful career at AFL level (I’d have him back at FC in a heart beat though ❤️). Sure he’s tough in the contest, but the majority of midfielders are nowadays. There’s nothing that really sets him apart from others.

I’m suggesting that if Goody had been open minded about attacking a bit more, instead of being so uncompromising in changing his game plan, we may have gone further than we did this year. Sure there’s extenuating circumstances, but after 10-0 only to finish going out in straight sets, some things need to be altered. Whenever we got a decent lead in a game, continuing to attack seemed to be the last thing we wanted to do. Instead, we entered a mode of trying not to lose the game.

Rodman has been delisted and Mitch Brown has retired, per the mfc website

Ideally, I’d just like us to say no, then the filth will have to deal with their own problems.
-
That would be fair……………….if we were to get a first rounder for Bedford
-
And if the ball is kicked in quicker.

We’ll get the same answer

Pick 90. Take it or leave it 😁
-
No, the coach who realises that an offensive game plan helps win games of footy.
-
We could do with some of the Fagan philosophy then…………………some

That would make Jackson worth at least 3, probably 4 😜
