  1. Yes, be proactive. I like it.
  2. Don’t think anyone has played a more important 100 games for the club. He is pivotal in our structural set-up. The first picked every week.
  3. I see that we play the Blues off a 5 day break after the Cats, all the while having played 3 games in 12 days not too long ago. How [censored] is that fixturing?
  4. Hawthorn are pretty irrelevant at the moment, why can’t they disband? Honestly though, for the game to be more of a national sport another team outside of Victoria is needed. Though there isn’t enough talent going around to keep it at the ‘elite’ level that was once offered back in the 16 team days. Good luck getting a team up in the NT, conditions just aren’t right to have a team there (think of the disadvantage they’d have playing every 2nd week up in energy sapping conditions).

Would rather McCluggage, as he is way more consistent
  6. Already above them if you discount their pet memberships 😁
  7. We’ll never be a ‘big’ club, but we’re no longer a small one.
  8. ………..Rochelle Rochelle

He needs to be lead to the ball, as he is not proactive in leading or good at reading the play. He’s a natural defender

Was at the WB & Saints game last Thursday and I reckon he is a pinch hit ruck & forward, where he has minimal impact in both. Kind of like a perpetual current Harry Petty. Frustrating Dogs supporters no doubt.
  11. I think we have found out all we need to know tbh. We won’t be contending unless we do a complete 180.
  12. My god we are playing pathetic football. Our skills are more akin to a bottom 4 team, not top 4 (or even top 8). Our forward line is a basket case, our delivery not much better. How much longer will our backline be able to keep our sinking ship afloat?

    However many he wants
  14. Yes, but not at the $$ he’d be asking for.

We’d be the only club that could offer equine pools and water treadmills for recovery.

There are probably those who still believe our home should be in the MCG precinct.

Completely agree @seventyfour. The land once developed would provide for a greater amount of space accessible for the community compared to what it is right now. Some areas at the moment are simply marsh lands unusable to anyone. These complaints are from people who just want to complain/object just for the sake of it. I see no negative impacts of our proposed plan for the community, only gain. Similar to what the Hawks are doing on an old waste site, repurposing the land. Theirs is a tip, ours is under-utilised land in the middle of a racecourse. NIMBYS are a plague.
  18. Agree. Clarry has been well below his influential best recently (obviously hampered by his injury). Dont bring him back until his hand is fully recovered

The pain of Scotty Thompson gone missing? He was an absolute champion in the making.

Might be time for a Bont thread!!!
  21. Still scratching my head as to how Kossie gets suspended by the tribunal for a week and yet Cameron gets off. the inherent risk posed by me scratching my head will no doubt warrant its own suspension. The MRO, the tribunal, heck the entire AFL is a pathetically run organisation. My hatred (and it is indeed hatred) of the AFL ‘system’ now far outweighs the love i have for the MFC. This league is a blight on the game of Aussie-Rules football.

So a guy who can kick and is composed, for a guy who can’t and runs around like a headless chook?
  23. Soft. Is not a KPP.
  24. I think we need to get more offensively minded players myself. we’d try to defend a nil all score line atm.
