Hawks are more than capable of playing the contested inside game, like a scrum where they then release out wide and just run. Better to watch than our style unfortunately.

Sorry @Go Ds, all im hearing are excuses…………And pitiful ones at that. The 20,000 of us that did bother to turn up sure did make some noise. I bet it’s the type that don’t turn up to games that will complain the most if Trac leaves for a bigger club. We are not one, and going by todays paltry effort, never will be either. Still………….id rather be in the company of the rusted ons than the bandwagoners who turn up when times are good.

The last line. if our players’ share a similar attitude, then the match is over before it even begins. We looked to save the game again in the last, when we should’ve gone on the attack. We have completely lost all our dare. I’d rather lose trying to win the game, than by trying to not lose.

Our lack of quality smalls and theirs being so good really stood out today.

Today is simply wet weather footy. Body over the ball, tough in the clinches, taking territory is crucial and smalls at the feet of packs. Defenders must punch to the boundary, no need to go the mark unless uncontested.
