  1. Yep, loved that bit of mongrel and he doesn't take his eyes off the ball when backing into traffic with an overhead mark either.
  2. Toby Bedford. We have a couple of small forwards coming through next year as part of our NGA as well.
  3. Very disappointing. Needs to get hungry
  4. And the AFL will tick it off, because we all know how close Darwin is to GC ?
  5. Agreed TPF39. Young's highlights video has made me want him more than any other player that will be available. I'd then have Kemp first choice for pick 8 and Weightman second if Kemp is gone by then. But it's a Young & Kemp combo for me.
  6. I was hoping to see a larger sample size of his kick into the middle against WA, the video above indicates he is indeed an elite kick off his left. What i liked most were his marks backing into traffic and not taking his eyes off it and his tackle at the 2.35 mark where he engaged in some argy bargy after laying the tackle (i like a bit of mongrel in players!). This video has now assured me that he is the one we need at pick 3, pick 8 can be Kemp if he gets through or Weightman if not.
  7. This should be a question brought up in the AGM.
  8. wouldn't last a day Moon, lol. Unless it was a recovery day..............even then
  9. I'd be more than happy to chip in one or two Moon!
  10. If he can get his body right (work your magic Burgess), he walks all over Martin. A lot hungrier and more desperate to perform as well (seems to be).
  11. If we have a bad year next year, heads will role regardless of our deal with the Roos
  12. The only problem with that Cc is that they rarely turn out to be the next X,Y,Z's. Hell, i even remember Sylvia being referred to as the next Ricciuto back when we drafted him. There even referring to Green as the next Cripps and he was drafted only 6 years ago. We'll be talking about the next, next Bontempelli soon enough.
  13. i think he might be plan Z JTR
  14. usually starts about a month out from the draft
  15. as a rookie, why not.
  16. Agree Swooper, he would be a genuine utility with explosive pace and good overhead skills. He'd be well worth the wait.
  17. We'd risk missing out on that player if we do that, Oli. I say stay with 8 and be certain of drafting said player. Bird in the hand and all.
  18. And i still want to play for the MFC, but at least i've accepted that it just isn't meant to be
  19. Imagine how quick he'll be without having to deal with all the drag caused by that bun of his!
  20. I'm hoping we use it to upgrade Lockhart onto the main list.
  21. Lockhart will go up at least another level or 2 with a full AFL pre-season and AFL experience under his belt.
  22. Explosive and can take an overhead grab. Wouldn't be too displeased even if we took him at 3.
