From the AFL website https://www.afl.com.au/news/523915/-i-don-t-think-it-s-totally-done-irish-ex-don-ponders-afl-return Worth a punt?

While i agree with your point. From the limited I've seen the kid looks good.

Believe a big cat was very upset with him and to be fair he deserved what he copped. I agree dazzle we need to improve thr list, would be interesting to know what the cats would accept. But unlikely to happen.

You should know by now dazzle, players pick clubs and not the other way around. If a player wants more money/longer terms/role etc they eill pick the realvent club. For all we know Phillips has rejected us and or we don't have the cap space for his demands. -
Guys cooked Nuff said

Is this the Demonland version of the US election? Pick a side?
-
I agree with this. That was my expectation as well. I've been in meetings and haven't followed the radio but im guessing Trade radio are talking it up as nothing is happening. We will wait and see.
-
Trade radio reporting a deal for Preuss might get done today. No details and not sure if they're tslking out their a$$
-
We also underestimate how the uknown list sizes and TPP cap are affecting the ability of clubs to negotiate.
-
Yep the whole league seems pretty quiet at the moment except for some drama at pies and dogs and the bombers looking for some good news. Cameron to play out .... but who cares. Pruess will get done late no doubt after this trade. Pretty boring trade period by the looks of ir.

What do you know @adonski

Yep spot on, Don't expect anything for O Mac or Hannan, they essentially will be DFAs
-
Why not. Ia the season to be jolly.

Any updates on Jordan and his contract? Cheers I am assuming list sizes etc are holding things up, but there was a lot of good talk about him throughout the year and nothing now. -

True, but if the player says i only want to talk to X club then there is no point. Usually his starts out as murmurings and the manager/player will have a plan or club they want to go to. If that falls over the look for anyone interested. I mean there are whole bunch of situations to play out, for example how required a player is, their price tag etc, but i reckon the pies have told Phillips ot look for options and they are exploring heir options. As i mentioned price tag can be a big issue as well. On a side note unless the pies are giving players away, why would any club want to help them with their Cap issue? -
Short answer is yes
-
Can anyone confirm if Jordan has a contract for 2021? Was highly rated internally throughout the year. I haven't heard anything since his injury?
-
Most of it won't happen, as I said Chicken Nixon is a salesman. But the Peptides need some good news.

The AFLPA and their spokespersons have been spruiking the "Ämerican system" for a while now, except they don't want all the negatives, such as players being traded against their will to maximise trade value and public knowledge of payroll. But we are slowly moving closer and closer to the American systems.... I think it's sad but anyway that is irrelevant. On the matching, i don't have all the details but essentially by a club matching an RFA offer from another club that player remains contracted to the original club and if the player wants to move a trade has to be agreed to. We haven't seen the situation yet where a offer was matched (lets use Crouch) and no trade being agreed to. Will be interesting to see what happens and if the Crows get what they want (better than pick 23) as compensation.
