Well.... I don't believe we are anywhere near full strength... be it neither are they.... I'm pretty sure Port would've moved heaven and earth to get the same umpires who massacred (officiated) the match at the Adelaide Oval last season....

FiveAA will begin their coverage at 18:30pm SA time (19:00 Eeastern) Will be interesting to see if they are still crapping on about the sacking (or as AFC called it, the resignation) of Matt Rendell.... What a blight on the Crows.... As if we all didn't hate them enough already!!! Anyway, I am in Adelaide but unfortunately cannot attend due to the fact my wife is working late tonight and the mood my 3yr Young Demon son is in.... Would not see a minute of footy... So like most of us, I am unfortunately relying on the worst radio callers in Australia.... Although I do believe I hate Tim Gossage more than any other in the land... Assume tonights coverage will be given to us by Tim Ginever, Chris McDermott (actually I think he is on par with Gossage) and maybe Russell Ebert.... Port Skipper Dom Cassissi not playing tonight due to a previously booked in wedding for tonight (brother I think) which is a bonus... Good luck to our lads.... A win would be a pleasant surprise....

If all goes to plan I will be seated at Moron Park with the stench of the unwashed... I would advise listeners of FiveAA to just enjoy the laugh... Stephen Rowe is a cracker (if he calls it) but it is more likely to be Tim Ginever and my most hated radio tosspot in Adelaide, Chris McDermott (who I have questioned before on air about his pure hatred for our beloved Demons). You will hear very few positive things said about Melbourne, except the love for Jack Trengove will be evident in their jealousy... I will throw some updates around the place (twitter and DL) if I do happen to get there (which is likely)...

Was listening to a chat with Carowhine Wilson on 5aa radio this arvo.... The topic of $cully and his father, the baked crusader came up.... Caro was fairly scathing of the whole ordeal, saying that if the $cully family want Tom to be remembered as anything remotely resembling a footballer and not a mercenary, then there is only one thing they can do.... Phil has to resign from the position! Normally I am not a fan of hers, but she is fair on the money here!

Was sitting on the fence for the entire game and lost my voice like never before. The umpiring was by far the worst I had ever witnessed. The crowd was a massive part in the reason for the lop-sided free count, but not as massive as the AFL making damn sure the first home game at Adelaide oval was a victory for the ferals. But I will see Melbourne victories their in the future, which will make living here amazingly enjoyable for a few weeks of the year! One thing I'm fairly annoyed at is the fact that my beloved Demons don't travel to Adelaide in 2012!?!? Wll make the treck to Darwin though for the demolition against Port... Exciting times ahead I hope...

Was speaking with the Grandparents, yesterday at Adelaide Oval, of one of Tom's best mates (if not BEST mate) and they would be shocked if he stayed but said it could happen... Tom supposedly feels let down by certain people at the club, higher up than DB was and they also commented on his parents preparing to move to Sydney... His old man works up there as we know... They have known Tom since he was a kid (I'm sure you can work out who their Granson is) and they say Tom is close mates with a lot of the younger guys at the club, but just feels let down like I said! They also said that anyone that knows Tom would know he has wanted to play AFL since he was a kid and he would do it for no money! Very driven young man...

+1 I was there and it was a disgrace.... I defy anyone to watch a replay and say otherwise

This game is massive for us here in Adelaide... Port will be pumped for this due to the fact it is the first of many future games at Radelaide Oval (beautiful ground) so we will need to come out firing to silence the Ferals on the hill... But Jack Trengove loves this ground Let's smash these pricks and show John the Butcher exactly what he could be part of...

Listened to an interview with the notorious Paul Connors (Butcher's manager) on 5aa in Adelaide yesterday. When asked about Butcher's chances of staying at Port, he said that Butcher is going to play this round then will spend a few days at home in Maffra with his parents and work out what he wants to do. Reading between the usual BS that a manager spits out, I got the impression that there is a fair chance he may end up back in Melbourne! Butcher is seriously homesick (if you believe local rumor) and it is basically common knowledge that he was not overly impressed with being drafted to Port to begin with. But the recent signings at Port may improve the outlook here with the club building a fairly decent young list. But beware! Carlton will be moving heaven and earth to get this guy! He fits their needs perfectly! Eddie Betts and Jeffy would be all over the crumbs from his contests like a rash! Also I have heard rumours that Ninethmond are sniffing around... We really need to announce our coach ASAP! Will be easier to entice players if they know who will be yelling at them

Has put himself out of the running for the coaches job over here in Adelaide, as he has clearly stated he is going to honour his contract at Norwood... Contracted till the end of 2012.... Won't be coaching AFL in 2012....

At the end of the day, I am personally not that fussed if he does go... His silence has been dissappointing to say the least... If he stays, good... If he goes, good riddance... All i know is that the SA boys will not be happy... They both see a massive future at this club and if Tom chooses to leave for money (which, let's be honest, would be the ONLY reason) then at least he will be able to afford top bodyguards.... haha...

I hope Scully realises that if he indeed does go to GWS, then his name will be mud in Victoria (the home of football) That and the fact that Trengove and Tapscott will both get rubbed out when they meet for the first time! You can trust me on that one!

They just spoke to Peter Rhode (PAFC) on FiveAA and were talking about Chad... Our man Jack tackled him in the first qtr and he never recovered... Apparently Jack tackled him, pack developed, all got up except Chad.

I haven't entered into this "he's staying/he's going" argument up to this point and I'm not about to.... But, this is how I believe it will pan out.... * Melbourne come out and narrowly beat Collingwood tomorrow. With Tom playing a major role in the win. * Melbourne finish the season in 6th spot and beat Essendon in the first final. * Melbourne makes it to a semi, but loses by 3 points to eventual premiers Geelong. * Tom comes out after that match and says "I would just like to announce that I love this club and have signed a 3 yr deal, why wouldn't you want to be part of this?!?!" * Scully holds a press conference with Jack Watts and Jack Trengove, announcing to the football world that it's all about flags and "we intend to win a lot!" * 2012 membership hits 45,000 and the journey begins! Until I see otherwise.... That is what keeps my sleeps peaceful
