Are we capitalising on our on-field successes?
Frustrating to hear, but honestly, not surprising…

POSTGAME: Community Series vs Carlton
So undisciplined it is ridiculous, they knew the umpires were going to crack down on dissent yet continually opened their mouths, appalling from the players. Expect a very different performance in two weeks!

GAMEDAY: AFLW Rd 08 vs North Melbourne
The defence was just awesome the last quarter, took everything that they threw at us, the only goal they could manage will most likely be goal of the week

GAMEDAY: AFLW Rd 08 vs North Melbourne
Can’t see them pulling back 17 points in last, close maybe but am expecting us to win

Umpires having huge impact in the third

Oppo Watch - Dangerfield - Respect the man!
Hate the [censored] immensely, but less so today as his actions deserve respect

GAMEDAY: AFLW Rd 07 vs Brisbane Lions
This is the tragedy of the competition. It has been expanded too quickly, if the AFL weren’t so greedy and beholden to certain clubs it would still be a 10 team competition, maybe expanding to 12 after this year. If that was the case, each team would play each other once, the standard would be consistently high. Sadly they expanded too quickly and we are left with games like this weekend where teams failed to score a single goal.

AFL Commentary teams - How good is Daisy Pearce
The incident you talk about was 6.15 left in third. Kozzie was in square when Langdon got ball, heading towards boundary, player goal side of him, no support. Tmac was not central corridor at all, if he halved the contest, he then had Puckett in support. I find the correct read here was Daisy’s one.

AFL Commentary teams - How good is Daisy Pearce
similarly, Daisy had to explain fundamentals to BT in the GF, how he is still working as a commentator is a joke!

Scott: 2021 Cats/Dees Prelim Should've Been Postponed
Forget the excuses, the funniest point from the article is his belief that his list of geriatrics can win this years flag😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Gus wins at Golf
The old man has played a few games recently with Sam Blease, apparently a lovely bloke who got great joy out of our flag win. Love hearing of the love our flag gave to ex players

COVID Disruptions 2022
the WA teams could really mess things up (for themselves 😂) We may end up starting the season with most teams having 70-80% of players having caught and recovered from Covid, but they may have zero, they are the two clubs at most risk of being unable to field a team over a 2-3 week period

First time I have seen this. Yes, have seen it for ANB and TMac, not Melksham

Part 4: Dees top 100 of the past 50 years 21-40
Loving the trip down memory lane, personally I would struggle to have Trapper and more so Col in the top 50, on talent top 20 but on career output, probably 50-75

Dees Primed for Repeated Glory
I have definitely heard and/or read the same thing (and not here!).
-
Hunt v Bowey and Hibberd v ??
I haven’t argued he should return to the middle, but his pressure last year was absolutely fantastic

Hunt v Bowey and Hibberd v ??
Brayshaw’s lack of defensive pressure was previously an issue, but to bring it up after 2021 is just laughable!

Dees to Return to the Red Centre in 2022
Got flights from Uluru to Melbourne for $90 a head, going down next week. Its possible, but not easy, be flexible with your dates, fly into Uluru about a week before game, do a 4 day safari tour taking in Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Kings canyon and the West Macs (about $1000 for the tour) arrive in Alice for game… Hotels last year were ridiculous because many were shut down and the Mercure (and others at times) taken for Covid isolations, similarly at Uluru, the lost most staff due to Covid shutdown and have still not got enough staff to open all the hotels at Yulara. hopefully next year that will no longer be an issue. The best event I saw here was about 5 years ago, we were playing Port, they bought up heaps of old players ;B Pickett one) and ran an awesome one day clinic for kids from the communities, miles better than anything I have seen from any other club
