  1. Not at all, was in ground just before kick off last year, park 5 min walk if that, 2 mins to find a park
  2. What I don't get is the amount of people who look at his time on the list (5 injury riddled seasons, though forget the injuries, shouldn't have mentioned them) and are prepared to write him off. Since he was in school he has been coached by two spectacularly unsuccessful coaches. Give the kid (and others like him) the year to show Roos what he is made of. After this season, Roos will know whether or not he is worth persisting with. (For the sake of this argument, I hope Roos keeps him, thoroughly agree he can be a damaging weapon on the attack from HBF and think that he is a better defender than most are giving him credit for)
  3. A tentative yes here, but will just be making up numbers as needed. Zero endurance, little speed and a knee that gives way if I try and kick more than 30 m. Will try speak with Shifu demon and see if he is interested. Will let you know later in the week.
  4. Tough? Cheap shots don't make a player tough. Dunn has shown a tendency not to go when required in the past. Cheap shots like the elbow were his forte, such acts are only considered tough by the clueless
  5. Yes and I thought he was good, but my faith in Dunn is still next to zero. There is a reason I have referred to him as Lynden Dumm for a long time, yet again I hope he proves me wrong and flourishes under Roos, but excuse me for being extremely sceptical.
  6. I hope that you are right and I am wrong, but the cheap elbow against the Tigers makes me question the mature mind side of things. On Dunn though, like Garland, he has the ability to play tall or small having done both many times in the past
  7. I honestly believe that we should play Hogan at CHB for the bulk of the year. Could be better there that Glan Jakovich was, could swing forward anyday. With Fitzy, Clark/resting ruckman, Dawes and Howe there we will be too top heavy. Will put less pressure on him, he would learn a lot from the likes of Brown and Riewoldt and teamed with Chip, Tommy Mac and Judy, they will make a fierce defensive unit.
  8. What I like about this picture is how he is reaching forward to take the mark. If he does this as a leading forward, combined with his speed and height, no back men in the league would have any chance of legitimately spoiling him when the delivery is half decent. I'm a fan of Dawes but his tendency to wait for the ball to hit him in the chest is a weakness.
  9. Didn't notice Pedo much on the TV but Dermie was full of praise in his work rate, something I was highly critical of having watched him in preseason last year
  10. After the fact. Anyone calling for Sylvia to be traded in the past were shouted down by the masses here
  11. If Mitch, Dawes and Fitzy were fit, the I'd love to see Hogan at CHB. Could be the best since Jakovich
  12. If only he played as well as he talked.... Go in hard Jack, that's what we want to see.
  13. Wow what a precious lot we are. FFS, the OP was poking a little bit of fun at the Crows, not Van Berlo. FMD.
  14. Surprising, sounds like he has added a yard or two. Am a fan from what I saw last year and while I never considered him slow I would never have compared him to Blease
  15. Really hope we take the punt and draft him with a later pick if we get the chance, high risk sure, but potentially high rewards
  16. So what could have been an interesting discussion on captaincy has "degenerated" into a discussion about the "facts" about Chris Dawes knee, something Nedld must have known nothing about but a certain Dr Reid was all over. Yawn
  17. Not such a bad idea. Could be useful putting out any spot fires that may arise
