I think a distinct problem is we get far too caught up in the numbers game. Put those aside for a moment and loot at the job before the club. It has a shopping list of roles/players it wants/need to fulfill gaps in the list To all intents picks cease of value once the whole period ( trade-draft ) is over its all about did we get the players to fill the holes. The merry go round of how you achieve it is really numerical semantics. Its either, yes....or no. The picks etc are just a means to an end and really carry no more weight than the ability to contribute to dealing. Im happy to wait on the final outcome of ALL the trading /drafting before getting ecstatic or otherwise. its about outcomes...thats all I'm saying

This trade period isnt over.. Lots of things can still happen and probably will, but not til later next week. it aint over....til its over !! just saying

Tim...Id say most of it is squarely pitched at the disregard by the club towards the health of its players and arrogance of narcssistic golden boy Jacques in perpetuating the lies and wrongdoings. I think youre doing us something of an injustice there Moonie. Whilst there would have been absolutely no argument we have been poo for a long whiles. We are turning the corner and the setup Melbourne now have with Roos, many other good assistants...a succession in place. Jackson steering the ship etc all bodes well. Other players who are in positions of acrimony etc or limited opportunities might well look at us and think.. Stay with bozo club or move to a fresh regime etc Some might legitimately take the view we are on the rise and where they are maybe not. Its not all about money. Some want to play footy
