The list is far better already for this seasons trade and purge. A little icing to come List not brilliant but garnering some ability to play and compete. Glaring gaps filled. How well, well that's what we'll see. Coach not so much exiting as re deploying elsewhere at club. There are a lot of games that are won or lost on momentum. We couldn't kick a score. We were still O|IN THERE at times against teams many thought wed be shellacked by. The 8 is probably fanciful but the difference between 4 and 8-9 wins might only be a dozen goals.. its not as simple as many think in terms of we are useless. We have't been cohesive . We will get better...

I'll reiterate what I put on the other thread on this matter back when 9th..with 111.11% laugh...mock ...whatever. The 8? No doubtful. Otherwise who t f knows. if we can get a decent 22 on the paddock early enough and stay together they should be able to be competitive. So much between the ears. We'll be a 5 player better team for starters...add in some stepping up. The players will straighten up a bit with targets and knowing the plan better. i see no reason ( yet ) to be anything other than a little optimistic.

what gets me about all of this is the hypocrisy of clashing in the first place and then the dubious and different treatment some teams get. below are actual 'clash " strips from 2014 : not a whole lot of WHITE happening there !!! Still the last one , the Doggies , is interesting to me. A team who is predominantly Blue with some red is now predominantly red with some blue...and both a dash of white. if thats the case why cant we change from mainly blue to mainly red as follows ( have posted before )

There is a distinct prototype being adhered to in the Roos era re mids. They are around 6 foot and no nonsense. Roos imho likes to assemble teams founded upon a core of utilities. These are more than just mids per se they are the footy's version of the Universal Soldier. Get 8-10 of these out on the park at any given moment and they just wear down oppositions and relentlessly push forward. They grind games, they grind opponents. They sometimes exhibit flair but in the main they just go about a job...( their role ) and depending who's on song on any given day a slight jugglling may occur until the team clicks again. Look at the foot soldiers...who are they in the draft...pick 2 of them and theyre ours

Well...would fit with my feeling we might go left filed with pick 3 I just have the inkling we are thinking....who could be decent and long wearing when coming on stream '16-'17 Brace yourself fellow D-landers...we're a football club finally who's thinking like one ( a wannabe successful one at that )

Am still going with my 'feeling' we'll do something a little left field. I think Melbourne sees value in Lever but were considering him at around 10-12 if we got a trade back pick after a Tyson-esque deal. With 2 and 3 im going to suggest its Brayshaw and La Verde. 2 mids that will take the game on after some development It's just a thought , an opinion. We'll know soon enough
