  1. Tasmania needs a bit of Devil eh !!
  2. do we need it quite so badly now ? I doubt it. Need 4 points more
  3. As a long time detractor of his kicking he has , for mine, taken some quite lofty steps this season in improving that element. However his judgement as to the when and where of such still leaves me exasperated often. He has been out of sorts lately for sure.. Shame..was playing very VERY well, other than some odd disposals
  4. Ray...been watching keenly for the past year and half of Roos tenure. Great at the overalls but gets caught often at the game. Yes it's cattle but more the how and when you use them and where, he had automons at Sydney..they'd coach themselves on game day, ours can't (yet) It may well be part of the grand plan to 'enable' our list but it seems to me you have to manage the game when you have to. We can differ ..not a problem
  5. Laughingly as pointed out by others Roos had/has always flagged leaving the day role to his appointed in 2016. It's not news however.

The AFL is fair, consistent and above board. It shows no favour .
  7. a flippant retort of minimal substance.I agree that we may be better off with Roos taking a holistic role...or rather continuing it and leave game day to someone who can do it better. Those who can't see this are blinded by man crushes.
  8. its a very interesting and important sideshow to this debacle.Worksafe is all about the employers/environment (work wise) and business responsibilities so this is the other side of the coin.
  9. he doth protest too much !!!
  10. Herald sun comments on Mitchell's sledging all so typically one sided (edited) Laughable . So he called him a '[censored]-er'......eh......whatever it takes !!!
  11. i wonder if the bomber got the point....
  12. I cant for the life of me agree with much of LU offerings, for much if them suggests an unwillingness (despite assurances to the opposite) that Essendon obviously crossed the line are are as guilty as hell of the most abhorrent disregard to care and moral duty seen in a long time. Only those unprepared to connect the dots have such a stance. I do however appreciate an ability ti string more than two words together. I do find it odd that these arguments take place on a Melb forum but possibly that's but testament to the quality of this board in general. I have , when able, had brief perusal of bf asada threads. Enlightening if only to witness some amazingly blinkered thinkings. These also show how many in joe public land fail to grasp the reality and severity of what transpired and what is still running as the 'intercept'. And yet the WADA train continues its journey. The fallout from this has hardly begun. By the time its finished the AFL landscape will have changed considerably, hopefully for the better. All those found to have participated and conspired to obsfucate should be banished. Must be hard to deal with knowing the club you follow is run by a bunch of.... Discussion by different views is interesting though.
  13. delusional types often don't see things with such logic
  14. Funny how when nothing seems to be happening the ferals invent things. There are those who are worried, deservedly. Tic toc Rats will run
  15. lets see what he says on record in a court where perjury laws apply.Over to you Charter. As to that imposter of a journo...more like a soggy French fry than a grand chip!! His only source is self derived !!!!
  16. Finally get to rejoice now all have gone out. So happy to be wrong. Impressive effort all around Dees, players, coaches all. Had to look at the scores more than twice. Well done Dees....lets keep it up. Pleasantly gobsmacked
  17. Surprised ? Why ? I think our sponsorships are brilliant all things considered. Can't fuss about what others do. It's what we do and accomplish.
  18. IDIGNo one with intelligence expects the AFL to have such. A classic case of those who often design....don't use. Myki comes to mind etc How we old buggers could ever manage to discern two teams playing in mud on b/w telly is beyond me now !! Most clashes are invented...but for why has me stuffed !
  19. My particular concern is that our lot have that unhappy knack of nurturing sluggish out of form teams back into competency. Given its a milestone game for them i cant see much joy at all. Not enough cattle of quality to do much im dreading. What little hope at a noticeable improvement and lift up the ladder i feel is about to topple off the Cunningham Pier !!
  20. I find it interesting that the general populous still cant see the inevitability of the process. We're just going through the motions prior to the naughty ones being adjudged in the rightful surrounds. After the players will come the coaches and such. My view is WADA will only go after the ring leaders. These clearly being Hird, Danks Charter and the Weapon. The club should also find itself on the undesirable end of penalties and sanctions as can be laid ( by them Wada as viewed by Cas, not the AFL ) Its a slow train for sure. ..but then again whos been setting the points for derailing !! My thinking is peripheral staff wont be targeted (especially if helpful)
  21. and guess what...as by strange providence we can watch all four play this sunday.Marvee
  22. Well am away to sin city for weekend for a 21st..back to melb for the afternoons encore of same such. Will probably not get to see a solitary second of the game. Strangely i feel happy as i sense a real thumping in the making. The ghosts of 186 may yet come a visiting. Ateam with no real coherence or confidence facing an increasingly better Geelong at the Cattery. Wont be pretty. ..but go Dees. Maybe someone might go mad and put their hand up. Simonds is a parochial slaughterhouse for the unprepared. May i be wrong...very wrong.
