Probably one of the more interesting debuts for mine..Hibberd. our backline needs a bit of his no-nonsense I-know-what-I'm -doing sort of devil may care. Over the years weve had some good intercept players who could read the ball really well and cut off many an attack. More recent being Clint Bizell and Jared Rivers. I see a bit of these in Hibberd though I think Hibberd may have the most effective kick out of those three. I think his inclusion will rewire the dynamics of our backline....in a good way

You HAVE to be able to take a contested pack mark to really be considered a KPF imho Four names that ring a bell. Hogan, Pedo, Smith and Watts....Jacks not always successful granted i ( in packs) but it asserting himself more. Id play him off a wing anyway. Weid's a bit of a ways off being really useful...but can mark sometimes. Big Mac can mark..Jnr Burger not so much as a pack style. Not sure youd implant Oscar when you actually have REAL forwards to select.

Im interested to see how the FD now approach things. There is in my view two options.. You persevere with most players changing out as few as 'required" OR The no man is a walk up start approach and therefore adapt your lineup to suit the racecourse. I.e Bring your strongest selection possible ( For mine the only EVER option ..i mean ffs you;re out there to win ) There will either be just 2 changes..or 4-5 Lets see what we've realy learnt

LDVC I have to disagree. There are two elements. The misdemeanor, and the application of penalty. Yes, easier not to get pinged but many do. There is no way on Earth that adjudication and calculation of penalty was either balanced or appropriate.

Tbh. I never bother listening to players or even coaches. They all do the REAL talking gameday. I 'listen' to that only. Just like for mine the only real Stat is the scoreboard.
