  1. Hey Demonland...maybe introduce another level... Like all good marketing...upsell !!! lol Maybe Annual..and thats fantastic to those that preferor afford this Life... an honorable option. but in deferance to our monicker and situation maybe another grade: I humbly suggest. Hell... Member of Hell....it does as you would think come ...after Life.. Just like the MFC you could offer the opportunity to part with more money for the greater good I would...Hell, I spend enought time here..lol just an idea lol
  2. Easy...we can jump them and staart 30 mins earlier !! too easy No one will notice... no one will be there..
  3. Im not actually expecting to see him play this year at all..Ive actually considered the idea we wont see him play again as a Dee. I just dont get any positive vibes about this who debacle at all. I do wish him well but the splitting of his heart might be a bridge too far. The call might be too great.
  4. shhh !!!! supposed to be a secret
  5. I reckon they are too. Now itll remain 1-2 for about 5 weeks most likely
  6. Cloke..will stay a Pie.. Eddie will have to ensure it otherwise they are just liek us...i.e anyone can come and take any player . Hes on record as knocking that on the head. Be a big face lose now to have it happen. 5y @ 900g seems the latest goss. Means some belt tightening elsewhere and possibly a lesser light will be sacrificed to maintain the illusion of solidarlity at pieland. Id rather a Boak type in the middle than another forward just at the moment anyway.
  7. There are players out there. There always were, always is. They just dont pop up til theyre ready. There has always been those cups of coffees at cafes between football types discussing hypotheticals about clients and clubs. Do we suddenly not do deals and trade like we always have ? Do we not have to give up something in order to get something ? Apparently its all about the Free Agnecy that looms. Or about the slight of hand at the draft table. Its supposedly beholding upon the club to find something where theres nothing i.e pul lrabbits out of hats without spending something. It simply wont work that way. We now have another path to garner to players but its only that...another. All roads will need to be used. I get the idea teh Dees will as might spend to get this player or two where thats the method required but i reckon many others gaps in the list will be filled with players from afar ( or near) that might not normally atttract attention as they are more workmanlike at their trade than the 'budding" stars.. They will be players who might simply be offered a bit of a pay rise or simply the promise of a fairer crack at gaining a game than they currently enjoy.. It might also be picking the eyes out of the 'homesick" or kids with a few years on them now and ending contracts who might find a more sympathetic listening by Us than their current employer. More than one way to skin cats
  8. probably wont know til seasons end ...other than an early escapee or two.Everything is guesswork by a lot of people who want to bignote. Come EOS various players will start getting grumpy about their insufficient deals and such...and so on.
  9. there al too busy seduced by the shiny shiny glittering trinkets to concern themselves with anything of dull steel, like a machine... like an engine...aka midfield.
  10. Bloody hell ...are we all just catchin gon ?? Been saying thsi for years.. Why the bloody hell dont we have KICKING as a priority skill. ? fmd.. lots of peopel can run..do beeps...do all sorts of ineffectual dramatisations of the game and yet murder the pill. Fat lot of good that does in a game called FOOTball !! god this is a no brainer and it still managed to escape the attention of our footy dept for years.. go figure !!!
  11. Im not here..lol..shhhhhhh
  12. theyve been doing that for a long long time. Muppets.
  13. A big thanks too to Nasher for stepping into the breach.. Top effort.
  14. if i misinterpreted...my bad .
  15. get with it....He's COLLINGWOOD !!!!! different rules apply
  16. Im sorry mate...that alone is just this side of garbage. You make of any position what you will. It requires effort. If the ball wont come to you...get it yourself. Get yourself into a position thats irresistable to others , so much they have to pass it to you or link via you. You have to inject yourself into the game. Great players grab games by the scruff of their necks and make something of it. Col wants the game to come to him often. Hes lazy. When hes bothered its a whole different ba lgame ( literally ) .Players like Stevie J , Marc Murphy, Dane Swan..Paul Chapman seem to do all right..... a funny commonality about them too.. They all try their f*%#ing guts out for 4 qtrs just about every bloody game.. Col ?? yeah right
  17. me too.Colin blow hot/blow cold Sylvia !!! Im still not convinced by his part time efforts . Like old he really needs to deliver consistency from now on otherwise trade him. Im not questioning his ability its all down to which Col turns up and for how many qtrs . I want him to, just dont trust him to. I often wonder what trust he evokes in his team mates as well.
  18. Cmon....20 bucks aint going to bankrupt anyone and if you can stretch a bit further then better still.
  19. Confucious say....better head in sand than up your .........
  20. Well he already has reasonable taste in colours Speed/pace is a funny thing.. Its how and when you use it often. Clearing the pill is often more about time and space . Being in the right position with the right skills and making the right bloody CHOICES !! Then again according to 'Mark Hutchings , steal for AFL' he has speed to burn. Maybe the Sainters just got it wrong. Maybe they were concerned about OP and just didnt want to use that as an excuse. Looks very handy Ron...you should let the club know We need some who move it a bit..
  21. I think maybe the way to look at this is the other way around. Who actually is absolutely required and not likely to be going anywhere ? After that list EVERYONE is up for trade, or moving on in some fashion according to a sliding scale. They only HAVE to get rid of 3 but whos to say wholesale change isnt on the horizon given th eopportunity todo so. By this one has to wonder what will be the governing factor, how many they want to move on...or how many they can arrange for ? Im going with the latter. As many duds and spuds will be given papers as can be found homes for. There are some I feel unfarily malligned though as havent really been given much of a chance. Magner for one hasnt really dont much wrong, and a lot right, for a first year bloke and so manyhave the knives out. He wont be going anywhere. One of the few that tries week in week out, has shown improvements in some areas and fatigue in others. Give the guys a break...esp when you have no-returns liek Morton whove been around fro way long enough to evaluate..for want of comparison.. Davey I feel will simply play out his contract next year and then retire. Common sense says to retain him in some "bro " capacity around the club as by all accounts hes very influential and mentor like to his kindred ones. Irony being he currently needs the mentoring. thats life. Dunn is Done...simple as. Bennel...might get another year to build. I sense there area handful Neeld want to give a fair shot too and this and next year will be that. Some will have already displayed all there is to know...can you hear me Brent ? Sylvia is showing a littel bit...and thats been his footy lifes mantra... can almost here Supertram'ps lilting..."Give a little bit..... " Will Neeld think this is a turning point or just good trade advertising ? Brad....writing >wall Bail has been for me a disappointment this year . Really thought hed lift to the next level and cement his sublime skills with more impact. Seems im wrong. On endangered list for sure.. Bate...i'm just not convinced he really offers much at all these days. Likeable...but indespensable ?? probably not...Time to go, but seems Neeld has his back,2013 must be final exam then. Is Spencer simply kept as insurance ? Does he get one more year only until the Gawn-man comes on line ? That would be my thinking.. Again id come about this in another fashion. If I were building a team for 2013 id be having a good look around come seasons end as to whom was available either through trade, free agency or draft and build the team I WANTED then figured out how id pay for it with what ever currency ( trade value players ) and picks I had at my disposal. So id emphasise putting players ( from whereever, afar or near ) into a team that could be refined ( one might say..a-Neeld) into a winner rather than working out how I could magically reinvent some of our spuds. I reckon thats exactly what Neeld will do
  22. Of course you would...and Mark would be happy to comply ??Think i'll go now as threads are dissolving into lunacy/juvenile rationale ( thats an oxymoron...as a heads up )
