  1. They haven't admitted to falsifying, just a rounding error apparently because they don't have the parameters set to accept temperatures that low. They get caught out time and time again. It doesn't matter if it is he IPA or Bob Brown catching them out, when the figures are wrong they are wrong. No amount of trying to discredit the person who catches them is worth noting. It is a form of victim blaming. I don't know if you are taking the [censored], serious, or out of your depth. I suspect taking the [censored]. Are you seriously trying to bring weather forecasts into this? For the record I am not confident in the forecasting of the BOM.
  2. I always liked him for some reason which is unusual cause I hate most players that aren't in red and blue.
  3. For all his faults and he has plenty at least he takes his footy anaylisis seriously. He is not one of the plethora of media "personalities" who live on past glories and just speak rubbish. Everything he says is researched. I don't necessarily agree with him but you know he has put the time in to actually have an opinion when he speaks.
  4. Lucky 13. I've been thinking about it and Oliver is like the Jackovich of our midfield. Can do anything from the moment he stepped into the team. Produces stats that are elite well before he should and most players in same position will never get there. You didn't know what Jackovich would do next and if the last few weeks have taught us anything naw do we with Oliver. Never will earn a media award but love them on the field.
  5. I'll begrudgingly give them that. We were essentially in administration. It's funny how things work we seem to get the rough end of the stick so often but forcing us to take PJ has been more influential than any bad fixturing or MRP decisions that have gone against us.
  6. From memory he had elite speed and endurance which is a rare combination and suits our game plan. If he is competitive by nature he will be on Taylor's radar.
  7. Normally I like the hairless ones but not in this case.
  8. Good. Nobody wants to poke an angry bear. He backs it up with his uncompromising footy.
  9. So are you conceding, like the BOM has itself, that they changed the actual measured figure to a false one to make it warmer?
  10. Why are you put off by Global Warming being called a religion? Rajendra Pachauri who was the head (chairman) of the IPCC from 2002 to 2015 wrote in his resignation letter that it was a religion for him. If the head of the peak "scientific" body that predicts and measures climate change says it is a religion and his dharma it is a pretty good indication it is. There is no higher climate science authority. Llisten to the science...
  11. Amazing how differently the coaches saw it. Does anyone know if this is common for Bolton and Carlton to give votes out of whack with the other coach? Their club doctor sees things differently.
  12. Hogan was leading the league in contested marking at stages 2 years ago. We're playing better footy now that our contested marking numbers are low. Come finals Hogan will be match fit and humming. We will have the best of both worlds.
  13. You probably should put them up now. The 2018 banner will be faceless and just a picture of our premiership cup. Perhaps I'm getting a little ahead of myself.
  14. So is that fucken idiot who abused Oliver over the fence.
  15. After Cripps had been off for about 15 minutes Leigh Matthews said something along the lines of: Cripps is off injured and Carlton are still winning the centre clearances 70% to 30% there is no logical explanation. How about Jones, Viney and Tyson all missing?
  16. It's hard to tell if the slow cooked lamb or the rare steak is better. Let's wait until it is all digested.
  17. Not sure how it is measured but his kicking is unique and dare I say it underrated. All his kicks go about 30m and hit a target but where he is unique is he almost always sends into the corridor. His kicks look bland but they normally open the opposition up and from there we look creative.
  18. We cannot put a cap on things we all know what happens then.
  19. Clayton Oliver exposed a bum on Sunday. Said bum should be fined proportionately for his salad dodging.
  20. Kent started poorly but came good when it counted. We're lacking so many players at the moment can't see him being dropped with his big body, pace and experience (compared to possible replacements). Stretch was ordinary but I thought he was playing reasonable football before he got dropped earlier in the year. I would drop him. Let's see what the coaches do. If Trengove was ever going to play again it was last week. Best of luck mate. I feel for you. Joel Smith was a strange inclusion. We either believe he can have an impact in the finals with his x-factor and persist with him. Or drop him this week when a few more players are available. The ins are based on availability.
  21. Hey Joeboy did you watch the Richmond game? Just wondering if you could do your 3 word analysis on a team that actually got thumped.
  22. I'm calling it now his brother will be a better forward. Was as a junior. We are getting some real versatility. In a game of momentum we have players to put behind the ball when it's going against us and a stack to rotate through the forward line when it is going for us.
