interesting that they're now saying 'long term' when originally they were expecting it might be a shorter term agreement you'd expect he's their next skipper

Sunday footy show - Who is the greatest Demon of all time?
whatwhat say what replied to mpc's topic in Melbourne Demons
only seen footy from the 80s onwards, but i'll go with max gawn - premiership skipper and the greatest ruckman of all time -
no such thing the bears just feasted upon the rotten corpse of ol' fitzroy and stole their nickname
-
the problem with gawn and grundy being in the same side is that meant the game's greatest ruckman was half the player he normally is why would you waste a true great of the game by having him away from his prime position during his peak period as a player?
-
Naughton in all sorts
-
teakle has no 'engine'
-
he and gus are senior list players who are unavailable it's a real shame
-
you're probably correct, but we signed ben brown instead
-
Well in 2022-23 we were flying along nicely at this time of the year before injuries and poor goalkicking cost us We are still four months away from the business end of the year

six games for parker -
if he can kick and if he can run at high speed for four quarters then that's a start the one i'd love to poach from gw$ is finn callaghan
-
bloods? flagmantle? pear gc17? puddy tatts? peptides bears us? crom? the season is just crazy even at the moment - you'd say only north or the tigs winning would be a massive surprise note: may tip the filth if de goey is named after all
-
another day, another job for clare pettyfor
-
outside runner yeah?
-
wrenched it just before the head knock that is quite the blow
-
three first rounders and then if you believe the reports we tried to sweeten it with a couple of second rounders and meth coke STILL said no... justifiably reid is an absolute freak of a first year footballer
-
what other clubs have haggled and traded aggressively to bring in a gun key forward? bears - joe daniher as a free agent puddy tatts - cameron for the 3 first round picks they got for tim kelly (plus a nice farm to call his own) tiggas - tom lynch as a free agent key forwards don't grow on trees by the by, we traded one in - ben brown, for the pick we got for brayden preuss for gw$, effectively - and won a premiership

also, with lever out next week, we'll need extra cover defensively, so moving petty down back where he's more comfortable makes more sense it's the mids that are really letting us down tho sparrow has regressed significantly from what he was, let alone what he promised to be in the wake of the 2021 premiership
-
we're there or thereabouts imo sydney is the only side that is streets ahead of the competition... and they lost to the tigers as their ONLY loss for the year any side who makes the 8 this year is in with a chance
-
If we’re going to play Laurie is has to be as a mid in place of Sparrow He can’t be much worse of an option
-
6: Neal-Bullen 5: Pickett 4: Fritsch 3: Gawn 2: McVee 1: Rivers not one of em was good all game tho
-
Half the Casey regulars didn’t play cos they were carry over emergencies for the AFL game Those that did play at Casey are, presumably, further back in the pack OUT: Lever, Billings, Sparrow, B Brown IN: JVR, Langdon, Fullarton, Tholstrup Petty to return to defence where he’s clearly more comfortable I somehow doubt that the above will happen tho

wtf is yr problem? we've been comprehensively outplayed embarrassing
