great news if rucci says he's told the crom he's no longer interested in going there, now we just need to stop any interest from the pear, and sign up petty for beyond 2025

Gotta query why the afl would fixture cats on a Saturday nite oh wait the answer is obvious; they’re idjits
-
i think he was 'sore' but they made the call on him quickly in order to get rohan on field sooner rather than later

scott said they withdrew bruhn because they wanted to inject rohan into the game earlier for his speed and ability to carry the ball etc.

nope the club was effusive in the praise for our fans turning up felt like we had about 40k of the 52k there i thought the passionate dees were loud

no, it's not - because stanley won the tap it's unfortunate that gawn got the knee to the back of the noggin, but the simple fact of the matter is as stanley won the tap it was play on and if he'd missed the ball it'd be a free to gawn it's crazy how difficult the game of footy is to umpire

In 2a, I was thinking 55k Markedly in our favour; understandably hard for cats’ fans to head up the highway on a Saturday evening

Adams will be part of the men’s department; with Turner having gone ‘upstairs’ as a forward, Adams will develop into another interception player Moniz-Wakefield is a half back rebounder - I worry about his usage but he’s getting to the correct spots and impacting with ball use Jefferson was a markedly different player without Schache and Brown down there as tall targets; add 10kg of muscle and he’s going to be a player

what the bloods are doing is getting themselves into a position where they'll play at the scg twice in september they're going be there or thereabouts at the pointy end, you would expect

i'm sure there's a reason he's 'guarding space' there presumably to defend the short turnaround hit up lead to the boundary if he wasn't, plus with his speed he can protect the slight inbound as well i trust rivers' positioning and the management of it by the footy dept -

exciting times -
that's fine, he can ask all he wants but the crom - or the pear - still need to come to the party with trade assets by the end of 2024 he'll be a two time premiership player - one as a key back, one as a key forward pay up, sa clubs...
-
why, in a game in which they'd already lost their #1 stoppage and clearance player, did geelong 'rest' parfitt?

but that's not the way we play nor the style that goodwin wants us to play what you are proposing is a pretty fundamental change to the system that we are trying to execute not going to happen, particularly not part way through a season we are wearing the risk by curtailing the 'normal' method of operation that clubs want to play against us, which in turn should help us play the way we want to play -

deliberate tactic most teams will choose to go boundary side if they can get a clean exit out of a stoppage by protecting the defensive side we're encouraging them to bring the ball into open play, which in turn works to empower our turnover game -
scott was pretty upbeat in the press conference and with good reason - they were missing arguably two their starting midfielders and their key forwards couldn't split the middle he talked his team up not down, which is exactly what goodwin does when we have a narrow loss too ultimately, these wins are vital in terms of positioning for september; we should both be aiming for a top 4 finish gonna be a tight one in 2024
