  1. Non-rehab forward line: HF: Blease - Dunn - Tyson F: Howe - Pedersen - Byrnes Fingers crossed we get some talls back!
  2. AFL Fantasy all the way people. Launches Friday. http://fantasy.afl.com.au Whole new look and feel.
  3. Three months sounds very optimistic. I'm curious to know how he actually did it- something to do with a sled activity ?
  4. Was going to be a gem of a player. Worked with his sis for a few years, big footy family. Was sitting at the g - my first and thus far only experience of Boxing Day cricket - watching the Pakistanis do really well when the news came through about the tsunami. Little did we know just how devastating it was going to be. Sorely missed.
  5. Vince is a classic wingman if you ask me, should be good for us as he's a 65m player - runs 15m, kicks 50m.
  6. Their full best 22 was: BEST 22 B: Colin Garland (25, 101 games), James Frawley (25, 118 games), Dean Terlich (24, 20 games) HB: Jack Grimes (24, 68 games), Joel McDonald (21, 39 games), Lynden Dunn (26, 117 games) C: Dom Tyson (20, 13 games), Jack Viney (19, 13 games), Jack Watts (22, 73 games) HF: Jeremy Howe (23, 56 games), Chris Dawes (25, 83 games), Bernie Vince (28, 129 games) F: Sam Blease (22, 10 games), Mitch Clark (26, 97 games), Jesse Hogan (18, 0 games) R: Mark Jamar (30, 133 games), Jack Trengove (22, 79 games), Nathan Jones (25, 157 games) INT: Viv Michie (21, 1 game), Daniel Cross (30, 210 games), Jimmy Toumpas (19, 14 games), James Strauss (23, 6 games)
  7. Good to see the always reliable herald-scum has named Joel MacDonald at chb for us next year... (Presuming they mean Tom McDonald.)
  8. I want to see what we can do with a trio of key forwards. I would doubt that I've since anything at the Dees since the heady days of 94, before Jakovich went down. So in saying that: Clark - I think he can be a powerhouse Hogan - hoping the kid can become a star Dawes - even injured last year, I thought he did some inspirational things The next three would be: Trengove - we need you to be the player you should be Watts - if the midfield can't be the making of him, nothing will Nate Jones - let's see how good he can become with some actual support
  9. All the best to him and his family. I've said it before, but junction oval needs to be investigated, the amount of mfc associated staff diagnosed with cancer seems, to me, abnormally high.
  10. surely his nickname has to be 'stephen'. 'king to salem' has a nice ring to it...
  11. With delisted free agents able to go wherever, psd is a waste of time.
  12. his highlights shows some scintillating pace and some aerial strength in the air. trust in roos / taylor.
  13. This kid sounds like he will be super determined to be an afl player. Could be a fantastic pick up.
  14. I see it as risky for Footscray too. Jarred Grant mk 2? Was really hoping Scharenberg slipped to us. Aish to bears, two years of sun, then back home? Freeman or Salem I guess.
  15. Bontempelli it is. I'm guessing Aish to Pies, Sharenberg to Lions, we will still have the choice of Salem or Freeman.
  16. Billings at 3 as expected, so now it's a matter of who Footscray, Filth and the Bears pick I guess, on the presumption GC17 go for the Tasmanian kid.
  17. Sheed is an inside mid tho, of which we have completely rebuilt over summer. Salem, who AFL.com.au draft expert Cal Twomey reckons we will select, or Freeman both add some outside skills to the likes of Vince, Blease and Toumpas, with Barry also that sort if he can develop as you would hope he will. We desperately need run and carry mids. Salem is that, with an Yze-like left boot.
