they way my bombers mate put it is 'you pay overs for melksham so you get hibberd for unders' i can't believe the turnaround in milkshake since he became a forward; has been sensational

Majak Daw seriously injured
rumours abound that the afl made all clubs include their psychological support services in the footy dept 'soft cap' this year; north were one of several clubs forced to cut it to meet the criteria of not being financially over the threshold

Pert's Plan to Make the Dees an AFL Power
Could easily by SMJFC associated memberships, my kids got offered memberships with their junior club participation Interestingly, we’ve done the same thing this year - kids playing in the south-eastern junior div can choose to align their membership with either saints or dees

Pert's Plan to Make the Dees an AFL Power
quite honestly, everything he sais has been said before, by many - the proof will be in the pudding unfortunately where he wants us to get to as set out in the article is still behind where the likes of half of all vic clubs - exceptions are footscray, st. kilda, north melbourne, and perhaps carlton - are now getting half of the 23k mcc members who are 'aligned' to mfc to 'tick that box' would barely move the needle on our membership rating, putting us around equal with carlton: the key, as always, is win games the more successful we are, the more popular we will be, and the quicker we'll be able to reduce that debt

Interesting to see that Joel Smith played ostensible defender on Weed - he was training with forwards earlier this preseason, yeah? Was this due to unavailable players, just to give Weed a ‘big’ to be matched up on him?

Yeah, happy to be shown I was wrong - I want all players on our list to be successful but Brayshaw’s form over 2017 and 2016 was awful and had me seriously worried for his future

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
Yes, massively so

Peak Petracca
But I have - I’ve said multiple times his improvement once he went inside was enormous I always said if he continued on as he was he was going nowhere, slowly; thank goodness he hasn’t, as I was really worried about him and his development With an inside mid role he was terrific, but I think with improved disposal he’ll get even better

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
God I’d much rather be Rupert than Lachlan - he seems to burn everything he touches
-
Peak Petracca
Sure, if you say so
-
Peak Petracca
No, I said if he kept going the way he was going early in the year and last year and the year before he was going nowhere, slowly - you know, when he was playing outside mid and getting it 10-15 times a game if he was lucky Since going inside mid permanently he was a revelation, even if his disposal if still sloppy imo

The player comparison with De Goey is a strange one for me Statistically, they’re very similar in 2018: https://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/ft_player_compare?playerStatus1=A&tid1=12&pid1=4041&fid1=S&playerStatus2=A&tid2=5&pid2=4043&fid2=S&type=A By the end of the season, De Goey was basically playing full forward for the Pies, which is the main difference btw the players Im quite happy with the way Trac is developing, which is consistently He’s always going to be that fwd-mid combo player who gets between 20-27 possessions, 4-8 marks, 1-3 goals, and 3-5 tackles a game I’d much rather that if that’s the base from which he can build that the inconsistency of a Sylvia for instance, who could get anywhere from 10-40 possessions, 1-10 marks, 1-6 goals, and 0-8 tackles a game Consistency in performance at this stage of his career is key in terms of him becoming the player we want him to be
