  1. whatwhat say what replied to McQueen's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
Seeing as Gaff has been clear he's not meeting with any clubs whilst in Melbourne, there's no way he met with Woosha in the last fortnight The link to the Peptides does make some sense nevertheless, given the pharmacist connection
  2. The club has been at pains to point to media and the like that 2020 is when they think the window will actually open for us based upon the list demographic - basically when our core young have hit that mystical 70-100 game mark How they factor in the loss of Vince, Lewis, and Jones and Jetta etc being closer to the end within that I have zero idea
  3. lever was robbed; presumably ineligible thru lti? that midfield is stacked; not just some of the best afl players under 22, but some of the best players in the afl in zerrett, oliver, heeney, bont and mclean edit: someone more knowledgeable than i pointed out that lever turned 22 on march 5 - missed cut-off by a three week period...which makes it even more baffling that bont, who turned 22 last november, is in the list
  4. no one is, benjamin button aside
  5. it won't happen - i still think he'll stay at sydney why on earth would you leave such a successful club?
  6. lloyd is reportedly in gc17's sights - big money deal in the offing
  7. i'd like to see... IN: hibberd, kent, melksham, weideman OUT: hogan (injured), spargo, pedersen, hunt (injured) in an ideal world we wouldn't have jkh or garlett running around for us this weekend, but if it was a choice btw them and bugg or an underdone hannan i'd go for them B: Jetta - Frost - Hibberd HB: Lewis - O Mac - Salem ? Jones - Brayshaw - JKH HF: Petracca - T Mac - ANB F: Melksham - Weideman - AVB Foll: Gawn - Oliver - Harmes I/c: Tyson - Kent - Fritsch - Garlett who's left that's available if hibberd and melksham don't come in? wagner and bugg? oy vey...
  8. since he's been in business we've won four premierships!
  9. until such a time as this thread title spells his name correctly, i say it's unlikely we're bringing in some mysterious bloke named 'hannaberry' on mega-coin
  10. i just can't fathom trading a 23 year old key forward who should be about to enter the prime of his career he's got better every full season that he's played he is clearly a confidence player who needs to work very hard and his mental calmness on field to settle down, take the set shot in a familiar way, and then not get increasingly flustered and clearly apprehensive ABOUT kicking for goal despite seemingly buggering his ankle in the second quarter so far he has had: shoulder injury against the dogs hip flexor impact injury against the cats sickness before match against the crows, a game in which he was clearly hampered despite all this he still got: 19 possessions 4 marks 1 tackle 1 goal 3 before the emergence of plugger mac, he's clearly been the best forward we've had since neitz the notion of trading him seems utterly absurd to me
  11. are melksham and hibberd certainties to come back in? hamstrings and quads don't tend to be less than 3 and 6-8 weeks respectively, so i personally doubt whether they are ready with four mainstays of the afl side missing, our depth is really being shown up as shallow on the presumption the former peptiders are good to come back... IN: hibberd, kent, melksham OUT: spargo, pedersen, hunt (injured) if they're not fit, could we see... IN: kent, bugg, wagner OUT: spargo, pedersen, hunt (injured) that's....not ideal
  12. From my position at home, where you can’t really see anything properly: 6 - Harmes 5 - Salem 4 - Brayshaw 3 - Oliver 2 - Tyson 1 - vandenBerg
  13. We remain a good ordinary club I said we’d finish 10th with an 11-11 record; looks like it’ll be 10th with a 12-10 record
  14. we remain a super ordinary football club
  15. we panic under a scintilla of pressure, can't win at the contest, can't catch them on the rebound
  16. ball bouncing their way
  17. nice to see they're allowed to kick it 5m and have it paid a mark
  18. all the air sucked out of the contest with alex johnson going down we need to capitalise on our opportunities it's an acl on his 'good' knee - that's gutting
  19. i heard that and thought the same as you
  20. nev looking very sore
