  1. any player who never walked out of the club after a single year that drafted them with pick 1
  2. mark williams did the same at the pear
  3. would love him at the dees future first round pick from 2022 would get it done OR - given that the filth are after 'points' for 2021 and picking nick daicos - would happily hand over the second round pick we currently 'own' (tied to brisbane) and third round pick (tied to hawthorn) but i think he's easily worth a future first given he's only 24 and is a very, very good player
  4. she's only tier 3 in terms of her impact on the salary cap - $24k only the rest of her money will be made up via marketing deals she's currently the face of aflw, as well as on ads for colgate, four n twenty pies, and nab - so that's how she'll get to the $150k a season that she wanted i suppose
  5. mcluggage and macrae are inside mids, as is parish up forward - petracca you can get away with in that half forward position as he does at least rotate forward but, tbh, this is more in keeping with all-oztrayan teams in reality; players placed out of position for no other reason than 'they have had a really good season!'
  6. Salary will presumably be made up in marketing money Hope we didn’t trade much for her - not entirely convinced she’s in our best side
  7. he's playing a completely different role to the freeflowing running rebounder that he did in his all-oztrayan years for us he's now very much a professional lockdown player and playing the role well lock him in for 2022
  8. drunk his own bathwater - again - after that moment
  9. it's basically a write-off from quotes that pert has given to media - particularly vis-à-vis training at full-sized casey ground has been an advantage - with a bit of added info the budgeted funding from state gov will contribute to a feasibility study that has been proposed to extend the size of gosch's to a full-size afl equivalent oval noting revelatory about it
  10. this is carlton's third rebuild since the late 90s? first malthouse top up era, then judd era, now cripps era reminds me of the mfc era when the watts / $cully / trengove era didn't work and we had to go back and develop again with salem / trac / brayshaw / oliver they should let cripps walk as a free agent and get the first round pick they [censored] away on saad back
  11. there's a bit of the titchell / smitchell about him tho - lots and lots of possessions but how damaging is he with the ball in hand? that said, would happily have him on our list but he should be priority #1 for the peptides to sign up
  12. now to smack em* on queen's birthday at the (sc)g *grind them down as is the mfc way in 2021 where they think they're in at at half-time and then kick 2 goals to our 8-10 in the second half
  13. hibberd to go to de goey, rivers to elliott or thomas, lever to take the other one, may gets mihocek, petty on cameron / lynch? i wonder whether they'll look to bring big cox back to try and 'stretch' us for height
  14. i'm pretty much the same 13 wins should guarantee finals, 15 wins should be top 4, 17 wins should be top 2 just keep winning, just keep winning...
  15. good to see the filth getting their good game for the season out of their system before they play us elliott is a serious threat as a small forward; hibberd looms as the likely match-up...on the presumption that elliott can get thru the game
  16. yeah. aints are done for 2021 be interesting to see what happens with their season here; could fall right away alike to ours in 2019
  17. so richmondy from higgins
  18. this is all insane and will, thankfully, not happen while we are 11-1 and playing well
  19. footscray win bears win richmond win sydney win geelong win carlton win gw$ win aints win hawks win freo win north win adelaide loss although, tbh, i thought we played better in the adelaide loss than the north, freo, or hawks win
  20. there's no way we'll mess with our structure he looks bereft of confidence - not too dissimilar to the way plugger mac looked last year it's going to be interesting to see what his options are at the end of the year
  21. OUT: weed, milkshake IN: sideshow bob, #positivelingers
  22. i think 08 was the best year of the geelong dynasty - they lost two games for the year and one of em happened to be the big dance and that's why i tend not to bother with the match day threads to be honest; it's just far too 'we'll all be rooned, said hanrahan' for me i'm not just excited but i am absolutely thrilled and can't get over how this season is progressing
  23. the players you think about when you think about our 'best' players stood up today; particularly in the second half, that was just extraordinary 6: gawn 5: petracca 4: oliver 3: mcdonald 2: may 1: pickett
  24. amazing result our second half was absolutely phenomenal
  25. their kick and mark game and ability to switch with relative easy is outstanding
