  1. a premiership a brownlow medallist (trac, oliver, gawn) seeing us winning at the g
  2. what noted carlton nuffie riley beveridge actually said in the video is that he thinks that while they'd love to land an oliver type, he thinks they have capacity to add a player at the level of the next tier down
  3. watts was dropped to the vfl / sanfl by every senior coach he had he wasn't good enough move on
  4. scharenberg will go to the crows as dfa they almost traded their own first rounder for him a couple of seasons back
  5. hawks' mate tells me that they apparently don't offer anything more than two years to any player who is over 30 years old he thinks they're nuts - reckons smith is easily still in their best handful of players and given his skillset they should fight tooth and nail to keep him
  6. big thing that favours brown as a modern key forward over t mac is his height and reach - he's got a solid 2-3 inches of height, plus brown is one of those forward who marks the ball at the top of his reach in terms of who i'd prefer as our key forward going forward, my vote definitely goes to brown
  7. no, soz, i meant $200k each year across the two years looks like he's definitely on the move; going to be interesting to see where and what salary we carry
  8. on which side of the ledger?
  9. popcorn gif definitely required for the peptides this offseason
  10. gary buckenera on polec's value: Polec is an interesting situation. He’s on a good contract so that complicates things. If I was list manager I would want to keep him. But if Rhyce Shaw wants him out and a club is willing to pay his whole wage, then the Kangaroos will basically trade him for nothing. In other words, a salary dump. If the Kangaroos still pay some of his wage, then a pick around 40 would be a decent deal. This is how poor list decisions hurt. https://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/teams/north-melbourne/gary-buckenara-analyses-north-melbournes-list-after-the-2020-season/news-story/f9bfc2ff465f22c084771f6d11d48a70
  11. gary buckenera on brown's value: Brown is on the table and the Kangaroos will be lucky to get a top-25 pick for him after what’s occurred. Clubs will see an opportunity to get him cheaply, although I believe he’s worth a top-25 pick. https://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/teams/north-melbourne/gary-buckenara-analyses-north-melbournes-list-after-the-2020-season/news-story/f9bfc2ff465f22c084771f6d11d48a70
  12. i wouldn't have thought langdon was on anything close to $700k a year yes still way cheaper than hill - and a far better year, too - but that would put him in our to handful of players in the herald-sun's made-up salary thingo he wasn't listed, i don't seem to remember?
  13. straight swap for brayshaw?
  14. smith is a 'costless' pick up this season - if he joins us, it's as a free agent, thus not weakening our draft positioning one iota
  15. melbourne's hollywood pin-up picked us so she gets my vote
  16. smith will only be entering his 11th season ahead of the 2021 season his age is not relevant imo; look at the mileage in his legs not the grey in his air
  17. josh kelly + jarman impey = dom tyson + christian salem + jayden hunt dom tyson = brayden preuss + marty hore preuss = ?
  18. i tell you one thing, he should be a nice and cheap supercoach first choice ruck in 2021
  19. would take their future second round pick
  20. fwiw i have no problem offering smith 3 if it means he joins us he started late in footy - debuted as a 21 year old? - so doesn't have the wear and tear of a kid who has been playing professionally since he was 18 he's not lost his pace, and his injuries - of the very few he's had - have not been soft tissue but instead collision concerns, like his shoulder this year would be be in our starting 18? 100% he costs us nothing other than salary cap too as he's an unrestricted free agent which means if he signs with us he simply walks out on hawthorn...and it's always nice to see players walking out on hawthorn the fact that they've offered him two years straight up shows that they still really rate him too
  21. no offense to us as a club, but being footy manager would be a significant step down if anything, he'd be a logical fit to head up the aflpa
  22. peptides the faves to land him this morning according to some
  23. old rules afl got rid of that one a few seasons back when, i think it was, fyfe got suspended after a succession of fines
  24. no guarantees there i don't reckon hub footy a big chance for a second run around
