  1. walla - along with stringer in particular - started to look very fat in the second half of 2020 still more than capable of performing but he definitely looked portly
  2. much as there's been minimal interest in t mac since he signed a decent deal and copped a few serious injuries, much the same would probably be true of smith he's definitely not the player he was several years ago
  3. tigers and cats are the obvious picks, the filth an outside chance
  4. who wins the fight for his father-sons / daughters? his offspring will qualify to play for both
  5. bears don't have pick 7 to offer daniher is a free agent - either the deal the bears are offering is enough to get the peptides compo in that vicinity or they're likely to match and force a trade suffice to say, they're getting nothing close to what sydney offered last year
  6. was a better player in red and blue than in brown and gold got his 'easy' premiership and leaves hawks light on for key defenders
  7. it's a 50-50 bet isn't it - either they will or they won't ?
  8. i have no issues with daniher being a band 1 compo - no different to us losing frawley if saad is worth a 5 year deal at big coin to carlton then surely he's worth a first round pick in terms of trade it will be interesting to see what essendon do with their trio of picks in a row ultimately it comes down to the culture of the club and how they manage that more than bringing in top line quality players
  9. look at that dog hahaha someone in not a happy pooch in pictures gawn to jackson to white is the order of succession of our all oztrayan rucks, yes?
  10. not outside the realms of possibility but probably unlikely also o mac >>>> schache at afl level, which says a lot about how far schache's stocks have fallen being a key forward taken at the pointy end of the draft is littered with failures over the last ten years, be it through commitment, application, injury or disinterest in afl - see watts, day, patton, boyd, mccartin, schache interestingly the last two taken in the top 3 of their drafts - lukosious and jackson - have been earmarked for different roles, be it half back playmaker in the former's case or ruck / forward / half forward combo player in our boy's case
  11. general vibe from dogs supporters i know is that schache doesn't have it in him to make it in the afl and will likely be paid out at the end of this season
  12. ha! suffice to say there's no interest in t mac in the annual player meat market i'm hoping he sticks and turns back into plugger mac
  13. their sole remaining key forward is james stewart if they don't get brown now then dodo is not doing his job properly alternatively i guess they could throw everything at jeremy cameron? means no compo for joe tho
  14. you'd think with confirmation that joe is off to the bears that the peppies will be all over brown
  15. ratkins is all but confirmed as going to gc17
  16. loyalty from club loyalty from player reward for effort amortising cost of contract over a longer time period matching length of term offered by a rival
  17. the big difference btw martin last year and saad this year is carltank can't push him through the psd - if they pick a fight with the peptides pretty clearly north will have the $$ to offer saad whatever he wants (including a car?) i really don't think saad is THAT good but if two clubs are offering him $650k a year for multiple years he's clearly valued highly by two clubs
  18. gotta be in his ear preparing for the free agent offering at the end of 2021 if the peppies did decide to pull the trigger on moving him on this year, i'd want to be in the conversation can't see it happening at this stage
  19. tony lockett... the list goes on and on...... time to use the ignore user button
  20. surely you mean a tick against avb and a cross against terlich... i'd argue that hannan, given that he's still on our list and a semi-regular best 22 player after three years, is a tick, or at the least a question mark Hannan ❓ TSmith ❌ Kielty ❌ vandenBerg ✅ Maynard ❌ Walker ❌ MJones ❌ Hore ❓ Terlich ❌ Fritsch ✅
  21. interesting that the media thought seems to have swung around that polec will stay with higgins likely to go to north
  22. contract extension wasn't long enough! bah! humbug!!
  23. visy brown paper bags are loaded with pratt cash
