  1. sort of but...not really? i reckon we'll go ahead of bears on % this week anyway
  2. what role would he play for us? he doesn't have the running capacity of anb as an example, and i don't see him as a gut-running wingman a la langdon or hunter i'm not convinced his ball use is that good either, as per @DistrACTION Jackson's stats above
  3. it's all guess work at this stage, but i'll go the opposite - they won't given them free access to sanders but they will give them access to a high end compo pick for mckay
  4. goodwin's presser definitely makes it sound like grundy is up against it to return to the senior side
  5. playing at chb suits him - he plays a close-checking game on the mid-sized forward, as he's still as skinny as a rake reads the ball in flight well, and marks cleanly at the top of his reach his kicking leaves a lot to be desired; like, say, tomlinson, he's best suited kicking it 40-50m down the line as he can't hit a 25m pass on the 45 to save his life
  6. if this is true then what hasn't been achieved from the strategic vision? 75,000 members by the end of 2023?
  7. he'll be living there but i don't think he'll be playing there
  8. the "i can't hear you" ear hold after he kicked his 5th was unreal
  9. the difference between petty and swann or cuthbertson or what have you is that he's a proven afl-level player, not coming in and setting things alight forward out of nowhere his marking both from on the lead and playing 'behind' his defender and reading the flight of the ball better was superb
  10. given that our desire to be more aggressive going forward means we are, obviously, able to be opened up going the other way, if only conceding less than 72 points was the old defensive requirement, is conceding less than 100 the new maximum?
  11. i think i'm pretty much in agreement with most - if clayton is fit, he's in OUT: harmes, woewodin IN: oliver, sparrow
  12. tactical, cos they subbed miller out so we needed to go smaller defensively to keep the match-ups the same
  13. 6: gawn 5: viney 4: petty 3: petracca 2: lever 1: brayshaw
  14. grundy up into the ruck in the third and - surprise, surprise - a significantly better and more influential player
  15. how on earth do we engineer it so that spargo is one out against two as the only i50 player when we're going with the wind?
  16. tojo never made it darwin? flagmantle never made it to september! amirite @binman?
  17. i don't know how they do it every week, but the levels on the mic are way off - every time the commentators get excited it goes from listenable to screeching
  18. they just called him as lining up at full forward on the casey stream spargo seems to be playing for casey too
  19. fisher has been the club doctor for a quarter of a century back him in
  20. outside the top 4, i'll take gw$, crom ahead of the baggers footscray are just looking like they are losing too many key position players at this point in time
  21. king crimson!
  22. at the moment - how good is FOOTBALL! hopefully doesn't turn into 'football; it's a [censored] sport and i hate it' tomorrow
