i personally think he's not even worth close to that the 'average' afl player earns ~$375k per annum bowes, thanks to his willingness to shift his 5 year deal with gc17 to the final two years of his contract, is owed $850k pa over the next two years that, quite frankly, is absurd

if - and let's face it, when - he misses on peptides, how many times will he have been 'next best' coaching option? is it only the peptides and gw$ that he's been in the running to win? or did he have interviews elsewhere last year, or even the year before? i'd rather take north or the bears than the peptides gig

it's not just $1.6m over the next 2 years tho, is it? it's $1.6m over the next 2 years then, you'd think, at a bare minimum $0.8m over the two after that he's not going to want to sign only a two year deal - he's looking for security of position in the afl system as much as he's looking to FINALLY get paid what gc17 have owed him over a period of time it's a big commitment
