terrible decision can they take it further?
  3. 2 if they make finals, 3 if they don’t
  4. interesting - treating it like an interstate game; we're heading down there on wednesday, training on the ground that day, then staying in a hotel in geelong that evening
  5. goodwin has said in his presser this morning that neither oliver nor petty are guaranteed for thursday - need to tick off some boxes in the lead-in to thursday sounds like oliver lost a fair bit of conditioning with the hospital stay

  7. i am less concerned about this than i am around how they structure around anzac day eve in 2024, which falls on a wednesday in 2024 in an ideal world we'd play the thursday 18 april vs peptides, have a 6 day break leading into weds 24 april, then an 8 / 9 day break into thursday 2 may or friday 3 may

from the 'likes' in the tackle: https://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/the-tackle-jay-clarks-likes-and-dislikes-from-round-14/news-story/158e7af1edf318481780068683211ab5 Melbourne’s clash against GWS Giants in Alice Springs in a fortnight will go ahead after the AFL brokered a peace deal with local council over community footy. There were fears the clash would have to be moved to another venue after the local council banned community footy involving teams from regional areas from playing in Alice Springs on Sundays. But AFL game development boss Rob Auld fixed the issue with a revamped community fixture, helping address some of the social problems concerning the council around transport and venues. It was a pleasing result for the league as it means the Demons will host the Giants as planned in the Red Centre on Sunday, July 2. Melbourne has won four of its past five games at Traeger Park.
  9. it's used a lot cos of the bit when it wigs out with the "i blew up your body...then you blew my mind" bit half decent? mindhunter was brilliant - created by david fincher, based on the book by john douglas it was used to show dennis rader, the btk (bind torture kill) serial killer, preparing himself for a kill - my joke with my serial killer obsessed peptide friend is to call brandon zerk thatcher 'denis rader' and she's got so used to the nickname over the last few years that she has to explain to fellow fans why she sais 'GO DENIS!' whenever he does something good

  12. i went with my fcfc supporting uncle and cousin, and we were all a bit surprised that it was nearly 30k gc17 were awful - spineless franchise
  13. agree with the first bit, disagree about the last bit...best 26 man squad players from the last three drafts: jacob van rooyen (2021 draft) judd mcvee (2021 draft) jake bowey (2020 draft) if you extend it out to 'last four drafts' you'd add in rivers and pickett, plus jackson only just left at the end of his third season last year to have 5 of our best 26 drafted in the last four drafts when we're at the pointy end of the competition is a pretty impressive introduction of young talent time i'm all for bringing in the best talent - if we can get reid, let's get him, teach him the inside / outside game with one of the best players playing that role in the entire competition currently one of the leaders at our club
