  1. He will want to play
  2. Also, Ethernet rather than rely on wifi
  3. Frankly cranky, I donโ€™t care what you think
  4. i've read that twice on demonland now, so it must be true
  5. he wouldn't be alone there tho - rivers wants to be a midfielder but his defensive workrate as a mid is non-existent, hence why he keeps getting shunted to half back mcvee has the capacity to be one of the elite lockdown defenders in the competition; i know midfielders get to run around a lot more, but the likes of jetta, starcevich etc. are far rarer and just as valuable imo
  6. if we keep future trading up every year then we'll never not have a first round pick... there's always talented kids available
  7. doesn't smith have more social media followers than most afl clubs?
  8. gc17 play the g very well - the balance of their side suits that size of ground i give them more a chance of pushing the filth next week than the walking wounded bears
  9. i doubt very much that they will want woey 2.0
  10. kate hore is a SUPERSTAR if we pinch this it's daylight robbery
  11. trac's sponsorship agreement is with coles bonnie toogood - or patrick dangerfield - have additional service agreements (asa's) with their club where they 'represent' their club for, well, additional services i spoke to trac yesterday at an event, fwiw - this was prior to the appointment of king, but trac seems in a great headspace and ready to get cracking for 2026 already
  12. my crom mate who was there last nite said: 15th to 1st, over achieved for the year. Wonโ€™t go that far backwards next year. Not overly upset. Annoyed but not devastated i think he's keeping a stiff upper lip cos the bottom one is definitely wobbling... you finish top of the table like they did you should not [censored] the bed like they did
  13. when gc17 in their glorious pink guernsey is the best of the bad options, you know yr in trouble dimma is a winner, the rotten so-and-so
  14. Yeah I think the latter Cos heโ€™s not Rowell or Anderson
  15. Because we are crying out for a midfielder who can hit targets by foot and defend when not in possession Heโ€™s what we thought Laurie would become, but Bill canโ€™t kick
  16. A much better resume to be a senior coach than just about anybody else going for the job Clear standout
  17. Gonna be awkward when he has to explain to Kalani why he kung fu kicked his dad in the face 20 years ago
  18. Very happy with this decision
  19. they are, i thought
  20. given how much vfl they played in a finals side - and how often they were listed in the best players - i think it says volumes that neither of laurie or billings were in the squad of 40
  21. i can't tell if yr advocating for his taking the taswegian franchise gig or not with the last comment? most second year coaches don't succeed either, let alone those who never won a premiership at their first club feels like this should have been in the 'who will be our next coach?' thread given that it's all about whether buckley should...take the job?
  22. i agree fwiw i don't see henderson ever being a contributor at afl level - hope i'm wrong and he turns into a mature age star! - and i presumed he would not earn another contract
  23. henderson plays a different role - we've just lost spargo, who is a similar style of player
  24. if the quality of this draft is as suspect as the judges make it seem, mcvee is probably a better player after three years of senior footy than any player who becomes pick #11 will be
