The New Home Base & Training Ground Thread
yes and no - i mean, obviously ever senior exec / ceo i've had the (mis)fortune to deal with has had some sort of mentor / consultant that they have used as a leadership guide etc. etc. but it's still hard to disagree with what you have written they kind of HAVE shut up about it tho "nothing to announce, hopefully more soon... now, moving on to our next item of business..."

PRESEASON TRAINING: Wednesday 17th December 2025
chalk me down as another who is looking at the 'rehab' group and seeing reasons to be concerned the general rule of thumb is that in order to prepare for a good season you need to have fully completed 80% of all pre-season sessions we look set to go into 2026 with a lot of players who won't come close to that mark

Jake Bowey Re-Signs Until 2028
just gotta hope the foot injury is not going to hamper him longer term any club worth their salt should be sniffing around him as a free agent
-
Farewell Clayton Oliver
put simply, the team has a history of bottling it in the big moments since mid way through 2022

The New Home Base & Training Ground Thread
this was exactly as predicted no update outside of 'more updates soon' frustrating, but better than 'it's dead, and we're back to square one'

the important announcement is that the possibility of caulfield is yet to be snuffed out

The Midfield - where do the Demons stand?
do you even mfcss?!??

Demons Appoint New Strategy Boss Eventually (Update)
'speeding up the game' is pretty important if you consider that each boundary throw in takes a minute to set-up; i.e. the rucks get into position (which is absurd in and of itself, from boundary throw-ins to around the ground stoppages) then 4-6 mins of extra 'playing time' is a pretty significant change the sooner that they remove the 'ruck nomination' around the ground stoppages the better - if two players go up to contest at a stoppage then it's an automatic free kick anyway, so why do they need a ruckman to get in place, nominate themselves, then contest?

The New Home Base & Training Ground Thread
we are as close to a home base as we have ever been i still don't think there's going to be a 'major announcement' at the agm; it will be more a case of 'we continue to work towards it' and honestly? i'm okay with that - the important is that we are not told that the 'dream' of caulfield, but continues to have active progress towards an announcement the agitating for it to happen doesn't make it happen any faster
