  1. if we lose all of the following: mcvee billings hore (rookie) verrall (rookie) fullarton woey 2.0 pup brown (rookie) henderson (rookie) then that's 4 senior listed players and 4 rookies moved on hopefully mcvee stays, and it'd be 3 and 4 presumably kalani white and toby sinnema, plus potentially noah yze, come on as rookie list players at this stage that means we'd go to the draft with 3-4 picks available, plus 1 rookie spot, if we don't upgrade culley, kentfield, sestan, or mentha to the senior list, which i don't think we have to do under current rules
  2. i imagine that is all part of it
  3. the evidence thus far says their medical dept gets players with chequered pasts on field and able to perform i agree that allen will perfectly suit their needs they're not going to want pointy picks this year with more academy picks available next year, however, they will want some
  4. from my rough count, 3 of the top 5 selections for northern franchises, dean as a father-son for the baggers in 6-10 range, and a further 4 academy selections (2 northern, 1 each for baggers and peptides) in the 15-30 range of their top 30, 8 accounted for already
  5. would probably be in my top 5 if i included aflw players paxy a decent shout too for inside top 10 too
  6. but we can presumably match with points etc - same as any other father-son selection
  7. yze - i don't think i've kicked 7 in a game before; i've kicked 10 tho focus is on casey in the vfl and not whether he ends up on an afl list
  8. outstanding result for casey with the exception of spargo damaging his shoulder, again - he's off to hospital to get it put back in place which would make the semi-final vs frankston unlikely you'd think 20.12.132 to 8.8.56 stats, sorted by disposal winners: my best 6: 6: laurie 5: campbell 4: yze 3: tholstrup 2: howes 1: cross woewodin, adams, culley all very good too, and spargo's first quarter was electric when the game was hot great performance
  9. howes has turned into jack grimes with his ability to kick it out on the full
  10. bill laurie dodges around three and drills it! that goal just earned him bog over tc for me
  11. and now his 7th from a set shot after a bullet pass from culley!!
  12. ooze gets his 6th with the most awkward running, bounce, run a bit more then wobble it thru kick you could wish to see score!
  13. at the end of the day, he's another that bill laurie simply won't get ahead of in the queue why is the delay between being allowed to post so long @Demonland ? can you reduce it at all please?
  14. adams' intercept marking is excellent shame about his field kicking
  15. spargo nasty shoulder injury
  16. he was interviewed at half time and asked about what he needs to do to get into the afl - "i need to keep working to improve everything; if i want to be picked i need to take a spot from viney, claz, or trac" he's been very good in the vfl all year but he's too slow, small, and poorly skilled to make it in the afl imo you certainly wouldn't pick him ahead of those three he highlighted, and that doesn't even include pickett, rivers, or anyone else rolling through the midfield in an ideal world he'd compete with sparrow, but the latter is much better running the defensive half forward patterns role than laurie
  17. who says he's ineligible? it's not like the paternity status changes
  18. this is why i have deftones new album playing instead well, that, the commentary, and the ads
  19. ooze with his 5th from the goalsquare!!
  20. adams marking in contested positions is very much like petty his kicking for goal pretty aces too!!
  21. some fantastic work there and aj drills the set shot after a brilliant pass to him from culley
  22. hence why it reminds me of fritsch making the most of his opportunities going into next season, noah yze would be about the age fritsch was when he announced himself in the vfl?
  23. adams a delightful contested mark and then gifts it straight back directly in front of goal in the old days he'd be dragged for that
  24. no way, when a father-son kicks 4 to half time in a vfl elimination final shout it out loud! interesting comparison with culley kolt is a bit the same - he's good in congestion but his decision making is sometimes a worry
