  11. all class thanking petracca and oliver to begin the press conference
  12. are you serious? steele for a 2027 3rd round pick is a, well, steal as good a player as oliver has been the last couple of seasons and a much better contributor to the culture
  13. so sad what has happened post-premiership
  14. what a bummer it's been post-premiership
  15. 3x 1st round picks for Trac and picks in mid to late 20s is probably best we can get
  16. And he was making the correct move but going about it the wrong way
  17. Miles off - 100% of his very heavily back ended contract is applied against our cap for the last two years of his contract due to his being a concussion related medical retirement
  18. is that true? the good ol' 'eye test' says otherwise long bombs to no one in particular and stab pass turnovers that are reminiscent of may at his worst
  19. finally, figjam is gonna get some experience outside the filth
  20. except both those club are, similarly, struggling to get deals done look at merrett and de goey - former has made it clear he wants out of the peptides and the deal is in limbo while the latter has appeared very late in the trade period as a chance to leave his club, who are pushing him out, but there's not necessarily any other club keen to pick his $800-900k contract per year for a bloke who plays less than half a season for the last two seasons half of the trade period is simply media bluster to sell advertising
  21. unfortunately i don't even think he's in the 'too good for vfl; not good enough for afl' level of player; he's just in the 'good, ordinary vfl player' level of player i would personally be surprised if he's on an afl list in 2026, and if he is then it says a lot about how thin the quality of players in the afl actually is i think it's only going to get more spread thin when the 19th team in tassie comes in, and then the inevitable 20th team too
  22. tigs will get waverley part-time til punt road oval is rebuilt i am confident we'll announce caulfield and plan to be safely ensconsed there by 2030 when they'll start on the rebuild of the southern stand
  23. good night harris that was brutal
