  1. frost was sub last week for dingley to allow the flexibility to throw sicily forward in the end he came on early as worpel was crocked; didn't hurt their set-up at all
  2. on par
  3. Demonland podcast is my MFCSS spirit animal
  4. ninefax has a an article about fan podcasts, in which demonland is mentioned (but the deebrief gets the commentary): https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/the-people-behind-football-s-new-media-who-probably-know-more-about-your-club-than-the-experts-20250307-p5lhw7.html
  5. yes, althought you must've got there close to doors to be right up the front! i KINDA wish i'd been sitting for the first half, with the recent album in full - very austere, very mannered, very performative; reckon it might've been better to absorb BUT i was so glad i was standing for the back half cos ROCK N ROLL BABY \m/
  6. https://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/news/moneyball-all-the-latest-afl-trade-and-contract-news/news-story/c64ea31148d3f7eb1321425065027245 tl; dr - some minor talk that Kalani might pick the Dees as there’s more opportunity for him given the logjam of tall options at gc17
  7. If there’s more than 25,000 at this game I’d see that as a win; gw$ have no supporters - 19k in a standalone home game in which it appeared 15k were filth fans says a lot about their level of support - while our match is in direct competition with the oztrayan grand prix We seem to have about 16k rusted on fans who attend consistently
  8. https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/afl-clarifies-players-third-party-deals-how-kozzy-could-hold-the-key-to-action-on-jackson-20250304-p5lgq4.html tl; dr - speculation on this age article is even more contradictory and has less detail than comments in here
  9. He needs to force his way in with justified form He shows little on the track or in practice matches
  10. You Gen admin? see you there!
  11. We didn’t, we traded for him - peanuts in exchange
  12. fullarton is a long way back in the pecking order
  13. i.e. until the end of the nba playoffs, i assume
  14. baggers dingley? puddy tatts? bears? filth? footscray? crom? them? gc17? these are probably all the 'favourites' and there's bound to be an upset or three
  15. Or contribute to them…
  16. no the afl never does an investigation that they don't already know the answer to
  17. it would go down as part of the asa, which sits outside the cap, but is a 'marketing allowance' as part of it trac's revenue from his cooking stuff would dwarf the entire asa i suspect
  18. as a former defender, i think turner is more likely to be tried to engineer that match-up
  19. probably the case but it means the in-season negotiations would be relatively uncertain, i suspect
  20. has he? i would have thought that aj has been playing in the 'a' forward line while jefferson was earlier in the off-season training program
  21. laura kane's position in the afl exec has nothing to do with diverty or equity hiring; everything to do with melbourne uni law school, uni blacks, and kpmg consultancies anna scullie's hiring as petracca's manager has everything to do with his outside football interests; it's a good result as it means negotiating a contract away from the mfc is problematic as scullie is not an accredited afl manager
  22. petty will return to defence, where he's a premiership player, in 2025, but still has the ability to be rotated forward if needs be van rooyen, turner, and johnson will get the first crack at being the tall forwards / ruck relief combo to start the season jefferson is next cab off the rank if jvr and disco aren't fit and / or performing i think fullarton - who shows absolutely no signs of being an afl-level player - is likely to not be on an afl list in 2026, and el jefe would be a chance to not be in the system as well but i believe he's contracted for next season
  23. anna scullie is eddie betts' wife
  24. $17m, 10 year says a lot about the aints
  25. starting the footy season this early in the year is ripe with this possibility it really is nuts
