Exactly, If you shepherd the ball carrier he can run his full distance, settle and pick a target, over hand balling only leads to a greater % of turnign the ball over or fumbling, So frustrating to watch, I have given up screaming "shepherd him" as I now know that will not happen.

I'd rather see all the players hitting the packs, putting their bodies on the line, running hard to shepherd their teammates, runnign with the flight of the ball, True hard stuff. Those acts inspire, not a jumper grab and a wrestle.

I think so, the worse thing that could happen to us this year is for there to be a board spill or unrest over coach etc As much as we will all be hurting this year, I think we will see a different side by round 12, in terms of personal, I think the kids will get more of a go and the likes of Yze will be playing at sandy, this will be like hawthorns first year under Clarkson I believe.
