Goal scoring blitzes and comparisons with older games eg 1972 GF are irrelevant I was there in sixties and seventies. No one knew about zone defence or patterns or any of those extra features. Coaches drill all their players today in manoeuvres and plays to stem the tide. Tsunami - no hope.
