Re George VACURA, late of Elsternwick, Demon Supporter I have “come by” the 150th MFC ANNIVERSARY package sent by AUS Post to this gentleman. I am briefly in Australia. I believe Mr VACURA has passed on. If anyone knows this gentleman or descendants I am happy to pass it to them. Included is “Melbourne FC since 1858” book in presentation card board box. There is reproduction yearly ticket, MFC Pen and lapel badge, both in cases. There is also separate book, “125th year of Melbourne Demons” with presentation certificate to Mr VACURA. If anyone knows or can assist me, please reply. After six months, I will sell to highest bidder. Proceeds can be forwarded to site administrator where I will ask they be paid to Jim Stynes Foundation, if this is allowed. I have photos but they’re all too big. Perfect condition. Thankyou.

Toy world ya, out on the road towards Warrandyte from memory- Shamrock Spitfire Movie - Bluey Truscott
The pilot tragic in me, well I never completed my Commercial Rating, is a sucker for all things Spitfire, 1940, “the few” and so on. This movie is about first Irish pilot to be RAF Wing Commander, initially in charge of rowdy group of Australian aircrew. Amazed to see red haired actor introduced as our own Bluey Truscott, 1940 GF mentioned and he’s in rest of movie. As Keith Miller said “I never felt pressure in a cricket game, cos pressure is a Messerschmitt up you’re [censored]”* if you like all things sporting, celebrating “the few” with a soundtrack of those big Merlins, and our own hero, this is for you. On PRIME BTW when working offshore I did fly out of Truscott Airport in far north WA *best sports quote ever- 2026 AFL Fixture

The VicRoads lady offered me a range of numbers. I was assigned 965 but chose 964 in deference to September 64. Demon supporters need other outlets. BTW, can anyone post a pic of his black 67? Any other Mustang lovers here?- Tom McDonald and his Mustang - ABC radio
