  1. We have a huge chance this week to push for a home final. Looks like Meg Downie has now played two ressies games so she should be the replacement for Goldy (who will be a loss for sure but Downie is a handy replacement). Brisbane are a good side but definitely beatable on our current form and at home.
  2. I don’t understand why Baker is in so many teams
  3. Can we talk about how bloody good Tyla Hanks is?! Her decision-making and execution is outstanding. She would be leading our b&f and is now one of the best players in the league. So smart and clean.
  4. Whilst I was hoping we'd go after Phillips, I suspect it was a salary cap management decision. He would come cheap from a picks perspective but his existing contract may not have been as attractive (with Petracca, Oliver and others coming up for re-contracting).
  5. Reprimand I would think due to low impact and being in a contest (so not intentional). Lynch deserved it
  6. Actually pretty much north’s entire first choice midfield was out
  7. They are very reliant on their senior core. Apparently Goldstein and Cunnington didn’t play? Saints had plenty out too but it affects weaker teams much more. I doubt they are that (Neeld) bad
  8. I have money on them for the spoon. Partly I think it’s a possibility, mostly I just want it to happen!
  9. Agree on Cunningham. We were far too tall up forward
  10. Umpiring (for both sides) showing why the players kicked up a stink when doing the new EBA. We have massively missed Hore’s class.
  11. That paxy miss says it all
  12. This is the worst rule change of the lot. Will be a spectacular mess. Will decide some games.

Salem is a muuuch better kick than Saad, who is prone to high bombs. Saad is otherwise better than him and very good one on one.

I am amazed that Brisbane would offer enough guaranteed $ in the contract to get first round compensation. He has barely played in three years and far from dominated in his games this year.

Not happy, not disappointed. Baffled that Geelong went after him - their supporters hate hawthorn and will pile on if it doesn’t turn out well. Plus they have Higgins coming in already.

I have a medical background and, without knowing the details with Higgins, I doubt there will be further issues. A few journos going with Higgins to Stk though. Richmond fans laughing at the idea he is fast (I assumed he was). Makes sense as to why he hasn’t been getting a game there. Still want his footy smarts - would be a good partner to Kozzy
  17. The west coast talls were huge in the 2018 GF

    He comfortably beat Jack Darling.
  19. Fritsch could be handy on the wing if he got fit enough

The original idea of the video review was for obvious/clear mistakes. Umpires call was the correct call by ARC

One set of rules for Richmond and a different set for the rest of the comp
  22. T Mac to CHB Brown is spare parts
  23. Bargain buy. The melts on north’s bigfooty board suggest he is still very highly rated by their fans. If he passes a medical I’m all for it

So basically no explanation of why they thought Andrews, Weitering and Moore had a better year than May. Seems to just be “the vibe”
  25. I’d take him in a second for a reasonable price, if expected to recover from this knee injury. Would add plenty
