CASEY: Rd 16 vs Geelong
Might have been in pre season? Will all come down to if Sparrow survives or not I reckon, might be a nice one to start in.

NON-MFC: Round 17, 2022
Does it mean he throws a shrimp on the barbie? I actually like Nick but gee he makes it hard to barrack for him. Always just felt sorry for him as he's clearly playing the wrong sport and is a Basketballer in a Tennis players body. Just happens to be super talented and this country is hardly laden with Tennis talent so there you go. This latest stuff with the charges does not sound good, we can't have this kind of crap happening.

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
As it sits right now I'd prefer to keep Gus than Jackson. That could change next week but this week its that.

CHANGES: Rd 18 vs Port Adelaide
I dunno, this is one of the harder selections for a while. I'm gonna wait and see what the 'bozos' that run this team do.

Only watched the last quarter and a half but I wasn't too crash hot on the way Weid was going about it, thoughts?

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Geelong
I didn't see any of the pressers but from what I'm reading in here Scott sure sounded pretty outspoken? Saying that we usually have two talls at contests so they did X and then saying that's as good as we have? If I didn't know any better I'd say these are the kinds of comments that don't get forgotten easily..

In Season - Loading/Periodisation: Put your conjecture here.
You're both spot on in my view. The intent was there, the legs weren't.

CHANGES: Rd 18 vs Port Adelaide
Really don't think wholesale changes are going to fix things

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Geelong
I don't think the majority of our mis-kicks into the forward line had as much to do with forward structure as it had to do with fatigue and just mechanical error. There were a number times we had open men in the 50 and picked out the Geelong defender.

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Geelong
Throw on top of that the 5 day break after a tough game in Adelaide and the loading, they would understandably be running on fumes in that game.

Farewell Luke Jackson
I just really love this last line.

2022 Injury List
Yeah could have just been a massive stinger that may swell up a bit but hopefully no bone damage.

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Geelong
Iโm going to say this one more time because the inference that I donโt understand the significance or reason WHY weโre wearing the jumper in the first place is getting a bit frustrating. In simple terms: - I love what the jumper stands for and why we wore it, 10 out of 10, 100%, nail on the head, locked on. - However, and this is the key bit of info: I do not like the jumper aesthetically from a personal point of view , that is it. I know it can be hard to separate the two things but if you could try your best that would be much appreciated. I have loved and have owned several indigenous guernseys in the past, they are some of my most cherished items. The Melbourne Football Club, since 1884 has worn these colours ๐ด๐ต. Geelong wears these colours ๐ตโช. In a game as fast paced as it is these days and the old chestnut of clash strips on slow news days, would you say that there is less chance of clash or more chance of clash if our team decided to wear the following colours? ๐ด๐ตโช. Just a simple yes or no. That's my peace, end of story.

That was disappointing when we decided to ignore switches that were on, it was like we didn't want to show them anything that could possibly be changed up.

Cardinal sin of AFL footy. You get one let off, maybe two at most. You can't be doing that there is no excuse whatsoever. As I said before, he's just not seeing anyone in that 50 right now other than goalposts, whether it's deliberate or not..

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Geelong
After Collingwood when I looked ahead at the fixture I felt after what was an obvious required win over Brisbane that we would need to at minimum take a scalp over one of Geelong or Freo. This loss is not the end of the world but we now need to get it done over in Perth in Rd 20 no questions asked. For the remainder of the season, the time in which to get the body of work done goes up until Rd 22 for me. I'm not looking at Rd 23 against the Lions as a blockbuster, I would have preferred to even rest guys and possibly lose Rd 23 up there going into finals. You know when you have to scramble to get all your work done so you can take an annual leave day on the last Friday of the month? Thatโs what I wanted Rd 23 to be (Within reason, still aim to win but donโt show our hand). So Freo and Carlton are opportunites to put the gap in them up top and we need both of those scalps. Collingwood as well (which could be coming off 9 or 10 wins in a row by that point. The season starts now.
