De Goey is the New Story
Ooh a suspended 25k fine! That'll teach him.

If we lose on Thursday
Can't. Need to win, failure is not an option.

Could Josh Frydenberg be the new AFL CEO?
I'm getting a bit tired of hearing these external ring in names. I don't believe the AFL is a place where you can step sideways into from another code or profession. Experience in this game at the admin level counts, just give it to Travis Auld and be done with it. I'm sure someone will come in and say something like "Yeah and that's done us a lot of good so far hasn't it?" To each their own I still think you need to know the game.

Low Attendance
Too right Gorg, I remember even going to a Roos v Eagles game on a Fri night just to see those two go at it. Yes it was before all the live TV access we have now but it was something to do and it was fun night out.

De Goey is the New Story
I've surprisingly got great hope for our power issues now OD.

Low Attendance
While the headline about it being the highest scoring game for the year is more about it being a shame I can't see there being much of a change there regardless of the anticipated quality of a game.

De Goey is the New Story
It does. Not all is totally lost for him but the guy is going to need to put in serious work on himself. I do hope for his sake he can.

CHANGES: Rd 15 vs Brisbane
If Melksham is selected ahead of Bedford I'd have serious questions.

De Goey is the New Story
There's a lot of Chris Tarrant the first time round at Collingwood about this. I think the Pies are eventually going to have a gutful.

Low Attendance
Do we really need to keep 'boosting' the matchday experience like a turbo jetpack? Why don't we un-boost the experience and let the sport do the talking? We don't need more music and lightshows and get up at half time and move your bootie nonsense.

In defence of Jake Lever
Yeah this cold I've had for nearly 3 weeks and only just starting to improve. Everything is multiplied in terms of recovery at the moment.

The Soccer thread
Very late on this but I've just learned about Optus Sport's price increase. Going from $15 to $25 for non-subscribers and people on Optus plans who had it included for free now paying $7 a month. Always expected an increase at some point but a 66% increase on a platform that lost the Champions League rights recently is intense. The subscription budget is getting pushed to the limits!

In defence of Jake Lever
Yes and it is still the lingering unknown period of COVID where we don't have enough sample data to go on with timeframes for getting back to peak physical condition etc.

Low Attendance
I'm definitely 'In character' La Dee-vina.

The Run Home
Yeah I guess it's easy to forget there are going to be knockout games league wide.
-
The Run Home
You'd take it right now if on offer! That return game in Perth goes a long way to securing this.

CHANGES: Rd 15 vs Brisbane
My guess would be Wed night Old Dee but really no idea either.
-
2022 Free Kick Differential
I agree, much more to his game than flopping. Looked very good against the G's.

Farewell Luke Jackson
After what we've seen from those examples you mentioned and heaps more, it doesn't strike as a method for success does it? Ideally you'd want the team built from the ground up rather than the bank breaker that means others down the track leave.

CHANGES: Rd 15 vs Brisbane
So now we're thinking mental health concerns for Daw and not injury?
