It does seem like the money club is West Coast. Sure Freo could back-end a deal but if it's about money for Luke then it would seem not the best offer to take at this stage.

I think it's a good read. Freo have firmly planted themselves into the window and it doesn't make a lot of sense to splash the cash on potential when their main need is probably a key forward. As Jake says in the article "Jackson is not a key forward that can chop out Darcy in the Ruck occasionally". Mates of mine reckon it's about money and that Freo can offer more. I don't think Freo is the riches that people think they do to throw at him. As I've mentioned previously on this thread Freo have a bunch of players out of contract either this year or next year whom have been critical to their success this year, also Young and Brayshaw signed long term. I'm sure their offer would be marginally more than ours but it won't be dwarfing it in my opinion.

But also they are going to Freo, to play them in Rd 20..

All servicable players at some point Jontee. It's more that they could be in and out of the side. I remember people really wishing in hindsight that Seecamp played in that Grand final. Would the result have been different? probably not, would he have gotten stuck in for our younger guys? Yeah probably.

Well, yes and no. If youngsters are coming into a basket case of a setup then they don't stand a chance of changing the overall culture. I agree that you need more older wiser heads keeping things in check on field and whoever said Brown and Tarrant should still be there for this is absolutely right. However I fully believe culture starts from the top in any organisation. The Board/CEO brings in the right Coach/Footy department and the Coach/Footy department then brings in rhe right players.

Its a concern that could be easily fixed with a just few more goals a week from the key forwards for mine. Sure we've been a bit inaccurate lately but this can change quickly. I'm more concerned about generating the scoring shots, keep doing that and I'm confident goals will come.

Pretty much covered off everything. Player x misses a few set shots - "Player x needs to practice their goal kicking" (With the inference that AFL teams and players never train or practice)
