  1. And while I'm at it, it' pretty fair to say that Luke is never going to come across another person and mentoring figure like Max for the rest of his career.
  2. Never really one to run with sources but I've heard from one who claims to have heard that LJ is flip flopping all over the place on this. Like a bit of a scatter-brain Jane.
  3. Cant wait till multiple premiers are said to have 'dais'd' several times..
  4. How much work do you guys think we need to put into Nick Daicos this week? There's enough film on him to know how damaging he can be yet teams still seem to let him off the chain? I guess it becomes a question of "Do we sacrifice a player from our proven system (Especially after it was successful against the Dockers) in order to tail a guy who could potentially run riot?". A lot of Collingwood's scoring opportunities do come from their backline. I would love to see how good they really are when this is taken away from them and they have to rely on clearance.
  5. Probably not a full tag but we just need to be mindful of him at Collingwood kick ins and maybe at stoppages. He's just too good to let off the chain. I like your idea with JJ and Hibbo
  6. A nice comment from King on First crack for a change. Talked about how Lever was able to peel off again at stoppage and how we made Taberner look silly in the process.
  7. Hopefully week after week of down to the wire games catches up there as well.
  8. For sure Homsar. Give Smith one more run and then maybe unleash him, would love to see him be a bit of an ace in the pack.
  9. Tough one, had a fleeting thought about maybe having Harmes for a marking role on Nick Daicos. Dunstan is worthy of a callup though this has been a solid block of footy.
  10. Very happy for you, that's awesome 😀
  11. THEY DID WHAT?????
  12. All eyes on the first QF for the Cats. Everything they do till then is elevator music.
  13. These results stink this weekend. Doesn't take away from our magnificent result though. This season will be about who is toughest the longest.
  14. The call felt like a bottom 4 clash rather than a top 4 clash. So much random conversation and talk about Jackson during the most pivotal part of the game.
  15. Boy this doesn't look good at all.
  16. Still so proud of the game that Gus displayed on Fri night. Goes hard on 50-50s and usually comes up trumps!
  17. I always had a problem with that part of the song and why the next line wasn't "We're the only team from Carlton town"
  18. Medal as a verb* *See Jess Trengove thread
  19. Incredible news, love it Jess. You the champ!
  20. I think hes a gun personally
  21. I'd go just to see the look on their stupid faces
  22. Wouldn't Lobb going to GWS be like repeating the 4th grade?
  23. "Ah just send him the vocabulary builder"
  24. You're right there is a difference, this is the biggest Melb v Collingwood game in at least 15 years and will make that 09 one look like Kindergarten for JVR compared to JW. They are one of the best defences going round and people seemto think the jump from VFL to this will be a walk in the park. I would consider giving him a crack as a 2nd tall with one issue though, who plays the 1st tall? Yes Brown could come back in but changing a forward line that succeeded the week before by bringing in two talls that weren't in it is a pretty bold move. Don't hate it but Carlton is the preferred game to unleash JVR for me.
