  1. That's your first mistake, footballers are commodities that are to be bought and sold 😛 Oh and they're also role models and not entititled to lives of their own. Whenever I see player X out having a beer I wonder why he isnt training at that exact time. Oh and why don't they care as much as we do when they lose? Based on no proof whatsoever. 🤣
  2. We're all different beasts on gameday I think. Sometimes I act like a giraffe that escaped from the zoo.
  3. Really sorry to hear mate.
  4. Thanks JJ you dork
  5. Hmmmm, let me think about it for a microsecond..
  6. Plenty of Brown baggers on DL as well don't you worry about that.
  7. Full of class that guy.
  8. Yeah I'm thinking 40s is likely, would be surprised if we got one in the 30s. Then again who knows how the herbs and spices work.

So is he saying that if he was a year younger that might have had a first rounder? or that he's 'only' a year older than most free agents? I don't know enough to know what fair value for Amon or someone in a similar position would be. Once upon a time Polec was apparently worth a first rounder..
  10. What was yours again? 11 for Lobb and 29?
  11. Although he wasn't top tier he was certainly on a tear last year and lost his job due to injury. It's brutal but it does happen and the ship sails on with or without you. I try not to get too emotional when players leave becasue it is the club that comes first for me but this one will sting a little. Back when we were on our long road back to relevance it was guys like Jayden that got our younger fans excited and all watching headbands. I would still like to have him on our list and pushing for selection as we really don't have many players who offer what he does. It would be great to really try and play him to his strengths, how many times can you remember him going on a good run and carry? Not that many. I guess in a system based team it makes it hard for players to have that 'free role' where they can go rogue and step outside the sqaure.

Honestly not a silly suggestion at all. I really can't see him seeing out the 5 years.
  13. Tea and croissants are also provided and the voice mail is banking up with unreturned calls from J Hird.
  14. Randomly tuned in on Wed night, magnificent stuff. Up there with other great Stones docos, will have to re-watch from the start.

Does EPL still exist? Haha, that break felt like an eternity and don't forget the World Cup in a few months will mean another halt to the season! Very different year indeed. North London Derby should be good viewing to get us back into things.
  16. I agree, find it tough to see either of those two falling out of the top 5 although quirky stuff can happen on the day. Would definitely help to snare something in the top 10 that could be used to get a trade up but who knows at this stage.
  17. Gut feeling but I think we need to keep Toby now. Keen to see him with another pre-season under his belt.
  18. Don't like to go early on draftees but Tsatas looks like a gamebreaker in the making. Has serious attributes that will help with the way the game is played currently with 6-6-6 etc and his breakaway speed and use from stoppage is to die for. Can see West Coast taking him .
  19. Yeah fair enough and it doesn't actually make me sick. I'd never let a club like that make me sick.
  20. Good work Jeff, model president..
  21. Closest to the pin for newspaper headline when the trade is completed? "Grun-dee" "It's a Grun deal" "Unicorn out, pony in" All horrible but you can't win if you don't buy a ticket..
  22. It's a tough balancing act isn't it.

Ok so it's actually happened now. Well done all

Bengals and Dolphins today. It kind of infuritates me to see Mike Mcdaniel off to a great start in Miami. I feel like he and the Robert Salahs of the world really helped Kyle Shanahan get to where he is with the Niners. I'm starting to see Kyle in a way similar to Goodwin in that he can be a bit stubborn and really needs to get some good people around him. The offense is very system based at the moment and there are no wrinkles in the play calling. End rant.
