  1. Imagine if we traded him last year, would we be within our means to demand a top 2 pick? Would have been fun to see teams break the bank over him.
  2. I'm guessing this is directed at me, give me something good to listen to and I'll change it.
  3. Yeah I'd rather hang on to him than palm him off for some spare change and a packet of crisps.
  4. Outside mids and maybe an inside rotation would be what I'd be after.
  5. All true EO but they did manage to perform on the big stage, against their bogey team, at a ground they hadn't won at since 2014. It's no mean feat at the end of the day.
  6. Yeah I can't help but think that as well. Twin bro tastes the ultimate success and now the burn is suddenly back!
  7. Total amateur hour, I had so much respect for this football club and the way they went about it. This is just looking worse by the day and those comments from Newbold regarding not seeing/sending emails or taking any responsibility are just pathetic quite frankly. When Jarryd Roughead had the second bout of cancer I was so envious of the way they rallied around him and I remember thinking in general how much I wanted our club to be like theirs. It's funny how things change and aren't what they seem.
  8. He went backwards this year but I do feel there could be something in the ruck for him and I'm happy to try it.
  9. Well done to Jimmy Munro, a real fan favourite.

I don't know about Collingwood. They're sort of 'all duck no dinner' if that makes sense.
  11. It's 3 days in and I can't listen to Matt Rendell anymore. Is there a doctor in the house?
  12. Must have been a nice haircut from Zorko in his new contract!
  13. Champion of the game. Cue the vomit reactions..
  14. What a bunch of tree huggers

And once again Collingwood have hitched their wagon to the De Goey post. Enjoy another half season of him on the park and occasional big game performance.
  16. Undecided on whether I wanted him or not. I imagine he would have come reasonably cheap and I thought he played some reasonable footy this year higher up the ground. Would help with our kicks into 50. Just hope we haven't missed a good calculated risk opportunity.
  17. I would strongly suggest these Essendon cronies stay out of Scott's way. He's not pleasant when he's angry.
  18. If the email is that far back and he's only checking his inbox then maybe it got archived in MS exchange! 😀
  19. Plus if they can give us some much needed contested aerial ability around the ground that would be very helpful. Also on Blicavs I totally agree, most versitile player in the league by a stretch. I watched that Geelong v Carlton game late in the year where he started by tagging Cripps and doing a bang up job but Carlton were totally snookered because what do you do? Move Cripps up forward? Blicavs will just follow and is already a competent defender in his own right! Think we'll see a few teams trying to get a specialist 'spare parts man' in their mix.
  20. The Grundy one is palatable. Is there anywhere you can learn about point values? I assume somewhere on the AFL site.
  21. Rotations will be back in the mix if the AFL decides to bin the emergency sub for a 5th interchange. Pending the cap number of course. The need to move away from bashing our best 18 into the ground will have to be addressed. Not saying that someone like Clarry would be midfield 70% of the time, there's just no way but we do need a slight shift in mentality and this is one of the pluses with getting Grundy in. Interested to see how this evolves and hopefully whatever they bring in is done with more care than the emergency sub rule.
  22. Sorry if it has been said but has Newbold been stood down from the commission or just given a leave of absence?
  23. Just train him as a ruckman all pre season that's all I ask.
